Reactionaries never prosper

Keep up the pressure. This is a sign that things are working.

an ordinary interpretation

It's all just lipstick on a pig for these big brother government apologists. The foreign policy of the War Party that is now in power (both its "left" and "right" manifestations) is leading this nation to hyper-inflation and national bankruptcy. There is, under an ordinary interpretation of the English language, certainly nothing "conservative" about that.

"If we want to live in a free society, we need to break free from these artificial limitations on free debate and start asking serious questions once again." -Ron Paul, The Revolution: A Manifesto

They have redefined

They have redefined "conservatism" to mean "War, war, war, let's kick ass, Screw the Bill of Rights, Civil Liberties are for Commie Fags."

That's what conservatism means, Post-9-11. It's all jingoism with no domestic or financial restraints, and no spending restraints.

They aren't going to change their agenda just because they're losing. If you think they will, if you think we can bring the GOP to heel, you're incredibly gullible and naive. Mainstream conservatives call Paul a "Moonbat".

Next year, they'll probably pass a Book Burning bill.

sadly

Fortune Favors the Bold

that was my general impression of the GOP before Ron Paul

How About some suggestions?

Like:

"McCain: Still F'in up"

"Alzheimers can be presidents too"

"When PTSD has nuclear weapons"

"Deaf, Dumb and Blind builds bridges"

"Spreading the evil one child at a time"

"Lie like we do"

Not perfect

But at least they are moving in the right direction. The GOP needs to embrace Ron Paul's message BAD!

Are they moving in the right

Are they moving in the right direction? I'll not hold my breath.

They'll never embrace Ron Paul because he's too Pro-Liberty.
