Want an example of why it's so important we act now?

This is a big can of worms we are opening here. I'm all for disrupting terrorist communications as best as we can, but freedom of speech is much more important.

My problem with this is...when one of these loonies releases a video, people familiar with Farsi or Arabic can translate what they're saying, so the CIA must be relatively honest about what's being said. If there's no access to these videos for the general public, we're at the mercy of CIA translators to tell us what's being said and claimed.

The experts in the US in Arabic languages already called the US government on a complete mistranslation. They claimed Amadinajad from Iran called for Israel to be wiped off the face of the earth, when a more honest translation would be a call for the current ruling regime of Israel to be wiped from the pages of history. Sounds a lot like calling for "regime change" don't you think?

It's been refuted a number of times, but the MSM keeps running with it.

I hate to point out the obvious, and you all will no-doubt flame me for this, but pay closer attention to the names of those who are suggesting, passing, voting for and in general controlling most of the issues that screw us out of our freedoms. I wasn't born or raised to be an anti-semite...they have done this to themselves. Abramoff, Chertoff, Lieberman, Feinstein, etc....research what they've done and prove me wrong.

LiveLeak.com is hosted in the UK and shows whats REALLY going on in Iraq (and the world). They don't sugar coat the Truth.

When the MSM News says "posted on an al-Quida website", do you ever think to yourself "why don't they just track them from their website?" ?
Thats the thing, al-Quida doesn't have a website ! MSM is not going to say "posted on liveleak.com" ! And they (LL's admins or US/UK govt) can not trace the uploader quick enough of an actual IED vid used on our forces.

Anyone can register an email, email a vid to someone else in the world, that person registers on LL, upload a vid of their attacks (from their point of view) from any internet cafe,,,,and *poof* ,,,The Truth Hits the Fan,,, their gone, never to log in again !

But now:
Lieberman wants to censor "[YouTube] and its rivals (liveleak) to delete any videos produced by al-Qaida, other Islamic terrorist groups, and ANY SUSPECTED SYMPATHIZERS." <<<< Freedom of Speech, "just watch what you say"

Scary stuff coming out of the **Chairman of the U.S. Senate's Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee**

The internet is why we are educated and I bet they are hating themselves for missing this trick.
