GW speech in isreal some strange sentences.

I found some strange parts to the speech GW gave while in isreal so i looked up some of the words am i nuts here or are these weird.

1st We must confront the moral relativism that views all forms of government as equally acceptable and thereby consigns whole societies to slavery.

I come out with this -

2nd We must confront the moral theory holding that criteria (standards) of judgment are relative (proportional - properly related in size or degree or other measurable characteristics), varying with individuals and their environments. That views all forms of government as equally acceptable and thereby consigns (commit forever; commit irrevocably) whole societies to slavery.

Is this saying what I think its saying?

couple other weird parts are -

what is the solid rock of universal values. Is he talking about relativism?

societies? should that not be nations?

We believe that democracy is the only way to ensure human rights.

ok i know the forefathers rolled over in thier grave when he said that one.

We believe that free people should strive and sacrifice for peace.

does that really say what i think it says if your free are you not at peace? if you have peace are you not free? whats with all the striving and sacrificeing?

We believe that targeting innocent lives to achieve political objectives is always and everywhere wrong.

anyways the speech is bazzar and i don't know who writes his speeches but when you break down and pay attention to what he is really saying its kind of scary.
