Note: That damn ChipIn site ended it early! It was set to end tomorrow and must be on some weird time zone thing. Just started a new one for the remaining $800. All the funds go to the same place so no worries.

We successfully aired the ad in Philly and Idaho.
We're going for it in South Dakota, the last state to vote on June 3rd. If we can raise $4000 or more by Tuesday, May 27th we can air the ad the 4 days leading up their primary.

is finishing the primary season strong against the "annointed" McCain!
These strong finishes at the end are not going unnoticed.
It is imperative to finish out with the biggest numbers possible.
Then, go into the convention with that momentum.
McCain can easily falter. His support is dwindling, and anything can happen over the next few months.
We need to keep RP at the forefront as much as possible, so as to be positioned to pick up the pieces, in the event of a McCain meltdown.

I guess that means I'm supporting Chuck. This frusterates me because the LP is the stronger of the 2 and I would have rather voted for them, but it sounds like they've been hijacked now. I was really hoping Mary would get it.

Wayne Root did the deal with Barr. I even predicted it here hours before it happened that theyre going to make a deal to stop Ruwart.
Not only will the LP now lose its Base. But also most of Ron Paul's supporters who were going to support Ruwart.
THE LP IS DEAD TO ME NOW. Unworthy of my support as an unprincipled party. Any ways none of the 2 [arties will win realistically. So I prefer suporting someone principled than someone with no principles.

Used to Like him. Don't trust him anymore.
I used to actually Defend Barr to libertarians.
The LP was stupid to target his Congressional seat. He did support illegalization of drugs, but he was opposed to the Police State Measures to Prosecute it. So he was a civil libertarian. And a fiscal conservative.
The LP Kicked Barr out with their anti-Barr mesage over MEdical MArrijuana, and the person that replaced him ended up being a complete authoritarian.
I've always kind of liked Barr.
When I initially heard he might be running for the LP Nomination I was excited because that would be an excellent person to bring some name recognition to the Party. Plus he's come around on his views about drugs, had done a lot with the ACLU to fight the Patriot Act. Etc.
But in these last few weeks I've actually been turned off by him -- to the Point that I contacted my State LP Delegates and told them that even though I'm a Paul supporter and Barr has supposedly claimed the continuation of the Ron Paul Revolution Mantle, I didn't trust him and urged them to support Mary Ruwart, and to please NOT support Barr. One of them didn't like Mary, but assured me he doesn't like Barr either. The rest agreed with me.

How do we know if the HighTide ad is really being played in Idaho?
First I would like to thank the American Liberty Coalition for their amazing efforts to both produce and air many ads including the 100s of hours spent on the hightide ad.
Ok since the corporate media has always been against us. I mean the corporate media lined up as our enemy.
How do we know theyre going to honor their part.
Dosent anyone Remember David Llepard who paid like thousands of Dollars to get a full page Ron Paul ad on one of NH's biggest newspapers the Sunday before the primary. Then they never put the ad on the paper and later claimed it was an ERROR
Now how the heck do we know theyre airing it or better yet 216 times like the ALCPAC paud for.
I hope someone from the alcpac is sitting and watching this closely since I really distrust the media.

I would be interested as well if anyone has seen it air in Idaho. By law, the cable companies have to provide us with an affidavit after the ad run, which lists to the second and on what channel it aired. I've never had the ads not air before, so I would be very surprised if they'd try to pull anything like that.
