How about a petition 'n send it to the campaign with a huge multitude of folks who have signed it and that have been verified of course.

listen up. Ron Paul would not want to try and embarace the party he has to work with every day so hear is what I think. Ron Paul supporters raise the money and offer the deal to all the mccain supporters to match it for a town hall meeting speech from each guy (doesn't even have to be a debate) and the 2 million (well probably 1 million cause mccain doesn't have any supporters) would be donated to sending home packages to the troops. This will be hard for him to swallow and if he doesn't do it he doesn't support the troops. Plus we are holding the 1 million in hand ready to support our troops. which we do anyways even if he backs out which throws even more mud on his face. We can also say we want the American people to see that our party always cares about all Americans in harms way. this even lets these people in on some Ron Paul fun action remmeber once you get out there and do the loony standing on the corner its like an adiction. its an activity that if they do it the'll be hooked.

You need to really throw it out there to shame him into doing it and the publicity stunt, if executed correctly, can create alot of buzz. Unorthodox, but this revoltution has been unorthodox from the start. I love it! I think I am starting to have fun. Ron Paul would be proud.

I assure you McCain can, and will, refuse any challenge to debate Dr. Paul. He'll just smirk and blow it off, the way he did Ron Paul's statements about blowback.

One thing a lot of people in this movement do not seem to understand (or want to understand, in my opinion) is that our opposition OWNS THE MEDIA.

Hence you can do whatever you want, no matter how outspoken, and it isn't going to get any Press unless the media gatekeepers "approve of this message".

If it doesn't get any Press, it is politically nonexistent if it is aimed at the mainstream. So everything we do needs to be designed to get traction on Youtube or someplace outside the mainstream Establishment.

Please contact the campaign and urge them to challenge McCain to the debate! Someone sent a more detailed letter personally to Ron asking him.

Plus a few weeks ago Ron was told in person about the idea.

I think it's a great way to force McCain into a debate or work real hard trying to find a legitimate excuse why not to.

I would donate to a money bomb to see this happen. Wouldn't it be great for both polititians supporters to duke it out by keeping a running tally of donations beneath each candidate on screen? I know. A wild idea, but I'm full of em.

under these circumstances and McCain (reluctantly) accepts, I have a feeling the Revolution will back it with a 1 million money bomb. Like I said...Ha! One Million? That's chump change.

I think this is a hell of an idea, but maybe lower the amount to go to charity. I think it would be hard for his campaign to part with one mil- it might cause a shortfall. I think $200-$500,000 would be enough to cause a ruckus. Keep up the great work. Bump it up.

I also called tonight and gave my two cents of this wonderful idea of calling out McCain at High Noon for a debate that would be seen nation-wide. This is a MUST for Ron and will ruin McCain once and for all.

This or something similar is a very good idea. I'm now an elected PCP and I know firsthand how disgruntled the GOP is. Many would like to see this for many reason. Some who support McCain would want it to finally get rid of those pesky Paul supporters. Some who support Paul would want it to lure McCain supporters. The general public would LOVE the idea (the Republican nomination isn't settled yet?)

It's a can't lose situation for us. Obviously McCain would be reluctant but that's part of the reason it's a good idea.
