James Dobson focus on the family

Hi guys!,
yesterday I recieved a letter in the mail asking me to donate money to focus on the family.. I sent a nice letter to the folks at focus and told them this!
You have the most Christian, conservative candidate running for office of the Presidency! you have not one time backed Ron Paul or have given him any support! therefore I will no longer support Focus on the Family or any other so called Christian organization who refuses to support one of their own! I am tired of the so called Christian leadership in this country being only interested in raising money, and seeing who can build the biggest church! the "Christian leadership" in this country, I am sorry to say has NO BALLS! please take me off your donar list!
unfortunetly it did not have a postage paid envelope but was worth the 41 cents to give them a peice of my mind!
not only dobson but haggee and all the so called christians need to reevalute whats right and wrong! NONE of them have balls enough to preach the gospel . and none can dare stand to lose tax exempt status by voicing what the government is doing wrong! or supporting a good man to run this country...they are leading there flocks to the slaughter! so very sad...

While I agree with your sentiment, Focus on the Family is a 501c3 org. as such it cannot endorse a candidate. Dobson however as an indidual can and in the past has endorsed candidates. He refuses to endorse McCain. I see his failure to endore Paul as a moral failure on his part.
The organization itself cannot endorse however.

that is what i meant.. its also time for these Christian organizations to forgo there 501c and start telling the people who to vote for and support.. when the pulpit was silenced by the 501c, it was a sad turning point for the Christian church! pastors are silnenced and it should be the pastors of this nation leading the revolt against a corrupt government . but they won't do it! they have sold out also!

Great idea. For too long we Christians have rubber stamped candidates who destroy our Constitution and we have given our money to organizations that support those candidates. I compliment you for your creativity.
oh and
my Uncle Keith is a methodist minister...he actually has a local radio show in Atlanta and endorsed the good doc on the air...
my dad is
an anglican priest, and he is a ron paul supporter, as are my friends Eric and Steve....

This is one area of our society that has been a tremendous disappointment and education for me to see this. I'd like a list of preachers who are for Ron Paul. Chuck Baldwin, Clell Drumheller (Houston), who else???
