Since 2003! I saw the video on informed dissent right before she was killed. Then I went back to view it again, after she was killed, and someone had gone and deleted the part about when he was killed!! She spoke more about it then.

As far as Daniel Pearl's murderer ... he's a MURDERER. I doubt Pearl is the only person he has ever killed. Why wouldn't he kill Osama?

She misspoke
She meant to say Daniel Pearl from the WSJ. Keep in mind, she is giving this interview in English, and she's not a native speaker.
I think he's still alive, or was not too long ago. He was talking in a tape released this year about the dumb debacle over the cartoons of Muhammed in the Danish paper, and in 2006 he gave tribute to the late Abu al-Zarquawi from Iraq.
The crap about his dialysis was a lie meant to castrate him a little in popular opinion...along with reports of his wild partying nights in Beiruit.

is the one who spread the rumor that she meant to say Pearl. She has absolutely no trouble with English. She perfectly said exactly what she meant and Frost did not question her one iota. bin Laden is DEAD. What you have heard since he died is manipulated some way, easy enough.

PARIS � Osama bin Laden underwent treatment in July at the American Hospital in Dubai where he met a US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) official, French daily Le Figaro and Radio France International reported Wednesday.

But they don't have any reliable sources to claim he was ever recieving dialysis. It's a matter of perspective...you really can't disprove something that didn't happen.

they like to kill their witnesses number 1 and number 2 no person with kidney failure could survive in a cave :) for years without it....

The interview is real, however it is also a fact she misspoke the name. Unfortunately, this was from her last big interview before she was killed.
Produce
the film of her saying, "Excuse me, I meant Pearl." If she had misspoken, she would have corrected herself and you know Frost would not have let THAT go if it had been false.

She meant to say Daniel Pearl. That makes sense. Daniel Pearl...Osama Bin Laden...they sound so much like each other. One has 3 syllables, the other has 6. It's easy to get those confused. Or maybe it was their appearance that had her confused, or their employment. Must've been something, I'm sure.

The man who she claimed killed bin Laden
Has been imprisoned since 2002. Unless you're claiming he killed him from prison, or claiming that bin Laden has been dead since before this time, it doesn't make sense.
Doesn't sound plausible...remember bin Laden was giving commentary on the Bush Kerry election, he's referenced the war in Iraq many times, he's referenced the attacks in London a few times, and has talked about Abu Musab al Zarquawi several times. Unless these are completely faked video and audio tapes, he's been alive recently.
