Memorial Day: Support the Troops!

As a veteran and someone who has seen it first hand let me state a few truths...
Santa isn't real...
There is no Easter Bunny...
And the Government is not going to help you...
They may make wonderful promises and all kinds of guarantees... but guess what.... when it comes time to keeping them.... their long gone. Lately the Congress has been proposing bills to "help" the troops... but let me just say... ACTION speaks allot louder!
If they want to support the troops... the first thing they need to do is to bring them home now!
20-40% of our soldiers are coming home from combat zones casualties! (And that's probably low) This is not only affecting their lives but it will be a burden for our country for many years to come.

The military is the servant of the American People!

At a recent presentation to the US Army Command and General Staff College in Ft. Leavenworth KS on civilian-military relations it was pointed out. That officers are the moral agent of the American people in the military. That that is also the key to the professionalism of our military. And that the military must be effective to be a useful tool of America.
George Bush and the corrupt command are destroying the professionalism and effectiveness of our military! And Insane McCain or Osama Obama are not going to make it any better!

Thank you for this insight. Congress will make the noise but that is all it is. (I think it must be gas). The veteran in every war that has ever been or will be is an inconvenience to those in power. When you are useful to them they hold you in high regard and speak softly (honor, glory, country) because it serves their purpose. When you are no longer of use you become a burden, red ink on the balance sheet. Don't feel bad we citizens are in the same boat just look at the political campaigns. Like Dr. Paul says "In a mountain of lies truth is treason" or something like that. Peace
I suggest to support the troops, Americans
should LISTEN to them. The troops have spoken and overwhelmingly choose Ron Paul for their leader, but do Americans listen? My Father-in-law (a veteran himself) when shown the fact that RP received more donations then all the other candidates put together, responded by saying, "Well then, the military is a bunch of idiots."
