I'm from the uk and I'm extremely jealous of your March of freedom in DC!! We need to march everywhere. This needs to be global people!! If they don't put in some press they will put it in others. And if you live in America and you can't make it to DC you need to organize a march in your city. That way it will get maximum press. This has to be global!!

It would be a big mistake
to think of the transformation of our country to be just about us, as it would expand out and embrace any citizen of any country to the intent of the creation of our original Republic. Scanning down, I see people from many, many countries that are waking up to have their sovereign status being removed before their eyes. This is for all of us and thank you for being open minded enough to understanding what the true patriot Ron Paul, although not from your country means to all of us.

Practical considerations: basic planning and promotion
I see there are some people interested in the London project. Ok, I am ready to moderate the discussion about how to plan and promote it for a start. I am not ready to do this alone for weeks and I am not ready to organize everything. I have a full time job and I am happy to spare a week-end for London. Please let us show the power of self-organisation!
I will start a thread on this soon here and on the other RP forums if there is some feed-back
My advise
1.) Those who want to come, please join the group Fabio has mentioned

This forum is a good vehicle for all our further planning.
2.) Please mention if you have any skills, knowledge, material or other input
a) It's vital to have some people from London as "boots on the ground", esp to check what are the regularities for such manifestation and, if it is required, to sort these things out with the authorities. I guess we have not to bother if we have a flash mob on Trafalgar Square with 25 people, but its different if we shut off the Strand with 5.000 people (ok, just dreaming). So it is vital for further planning you pledge as soon as possible.
b) Of course it would be nice if there are people who are skilled in making a documentary like this http://youtube.com/watch?.... I guess that shouldn't be that problem. But does anyone has the skill and the equipment to build up some life link to Washington? Does anyone has a connection to bring the event into the media? Any special Ron Paul material (Mini-Blimp)?
3.) The general course of events should be nice and simple: meet at a certain point at a certain time, enjoy and leave again. Having said this, I think it would be great to have some meeting afterwards, perhabs the next day to discuss further cooperation and to pass a proclamation like the people in Straßburg did http://strasbourgteaparty....
4.) Last not least we should think on promoting this event heavy during the next weeks. So tell your meetup-groups, post it on your national blogs and websites: and don't forget to add the link http://groups.google.com/...
5.) Of course there are people who would like to show their support on the 12th of July but can't or won't make it to London. Anyway, it would be nice and fun if you gather in nice crowds. Fabio said his Munich meetup group intends to have a march there and I can imagine the Hamburg group will be up too. I guess you will find some information on this and other European events here http://groups.google.com/....
Maybe you cannot make it to any event and you are just a small group or all on your own (I remember a post here of a poor guy in some remote part of Chili). Thought about your own freedom message for the 12th of July on youtube? Perhabs someone will make a nice video with all this messages and pictures from the rallies. Just an idea.

It would be great to have several places in Europe where Paulites meet in nice numbers to "show their colours", and we should promote these places too. But London would be a good place for "continental" Paulites and those from the British Isles to meet.

Seriously though, I think that while a big demonstration in the States could be extremely effective, Brits and Europeans need to be alot more inventive in terms of their tactics. I would recommend a flyposting or stenciling campaign.
How about "WHO WILL END THE WAR? Google Ron Paul".
Or "WHAT IS SOUND MONEY? Google Ron Paul".
Or "MAKE GOVERNMENT SMALLER! Google Ron Paul."
Or "SCREW THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA! Google Ron Paul."
Keep it simple, eye-catching and oblique. Target precisely those people who are curious about issues but absolutely pig sick of mainsteam politics (Labour, Conservatives, Lib Dems), the far left (Respect, SWP, Class War, CPGB-ML, etc.) and the far right (BNP, UKIP).

unfortunately we're already facing legislative power without democratic legitimation from Brussels on a European scale. Getting the Lisbon Treaty would make it even worse.
Thus we have to promote democratic principles on the European level. This is what Newropeans is about.

I see there is a rift, but...
we shouldn't get all worked up on it already. I guess derdaddler is basically in favor of European unification to a certain extend (which is still my option), while Maria seems basically to prefer "small" national goverment. I would say it's the same as the rift here among our American friends between Constitutionalists and Anarchists and those who see the USA as "A nation under God" and others who see the Constitution as an offspring of agnostic enlightment. You may argue and start wars about, but seeing it in perspective of the current challenge it would be silly to waste our time in argueing about these things. I would say, we have to walk miles together until this rift really matters. And perhabs we will see then it doesn't matter that much at all.

If some Brits were to march through London waving Ron Paul Revolution banners the response on the ground would be "Huh?...."
In the USA, Ron Paul and his supporters are trying to hold the Republican Party accountable to its stated agenda - small government, sound money, low taxes and a foreign policy of non-intervention. In Britain, no-one is trying re-direct the Conservative Party along those lines. The UK Independence Party is constitutionally commited to the monarchy(!?) and the British National Party is openly racist, militarist, xenophobic and basically blames foreigners for anything bad that happens in Britain. Even the Libertarian Party in Britain has nothing to say about sound money! Not much of a choice is it? Britain shares Americas problems with regard to Inflation, the Welfare State, the Warfare State and the erosion of civil liberties. However, the current crisis in the USA is far more serious. Sterling has actually gained value against the US dollar - even though it has dropped against the Euro. For the moment, Europeans are not suffering like people across the pond. As for the future?...

I guess it is in allour countries the same. There may be parties, organisations or political celebreties who somehow cover some aspects of Ron Paul ideas but no one in the cogent, unassuming way of the good Doctor. Though his agenda is "on air" in our countries somehow; otherwise there won't a yet small but diverse set of people (not only libertarians in the strict sense) watch him and the rEVOLution so enthusiastically.
To the march (or any kind of manfestation we might think of) in London: I think there are two main objectives: the first to give our salute to Ron Paul and our American friends to thank for the inspiration given to us. The second is to get to know one another. Even nationwide I know most Paulites just from the Internet. And we need to know people transnational. I mean, our goverments stick more or less together. Even if your dream is to get Britain back to some "splendid isolation" it is essential to cooperate now. And until now there seems to be hardly a cooperation between the supporters in the UK and in Ireland and those here on the continent. And then we may find some kind of organisation for the future too. Don't worry to much about the "response on the ground" This is not to make proselytes (may be the people in the US wake up, but not yet here in Europe, as you said, they are not suffering (enough) until know). But I guess from the response here it will be a nice crowd of at least 50-80 people. Hope to see you in London!

Yes, we have Ron Paul. He is limited to a leadership role vs. his
role in U.S. Congress. He will be a key speaker at the freedom
revolution rallies.
A successful revolution must have strong leadership, ideology,
and propaganda.
Strong leadership includes charisma, dynamity, and confidence.
Ideology is important to let citizens know what their leader stands for.
The leader must believe the same as the citizens.
Propaganda is also necessary for a successful revolution. Propaganda can consist of leaflets, pamphlets, etc. that convince or notify citizens of the country's goal.
We need to work on a platform for our peaceful revoltion.

I'm jealous without knowing who to follow, because you have Dr Paul and although I look at Stuart Wheeler, BNP, UKIP, LPUK, etc, I feel there is fragmentation and a need for consolidation amongst all the folk who are looking for a cause -celeb.
