Wow, I really liked that.... it gave me such a great chance to learn about all the candidates... I was really impressed... they/the debate/the convention all seemed very professional.
I think I'm also in full support of either Mary Ruwart or Bob Barr now... although, the main reason I like Barr is just because I think his chances are the best.... I liked Ruwart the best as a candidate. She made one point about the pros of running a woman, and maybe she's right... but we'd have to make sure people were aware.
I think Root would be ok for a VP. I was actually a little turned off by his "enthusiasm." But, if his claims to support from poker players and small business owners is true and that can be turned into votes then he'd be a valuable tool.
Gravel actually interested me more than I thought, but I don't favor him... I see him as being marginalized way too much and ignored. I'm also still iffy about his democrat/socialist leanings...
I did NOT care for the guy from Massachusetts or the the guy who was next to him... The marijuana guy who was next to Ruwart didn't really do much for me either... I don't see him as fitting for the candidate/nomination....
I just hope that they can pick someone and then all work together and pull all their resources that they pointed out to get the most votes....
After watching the debate I must say that I would be proud to have any of those individuals as my president. My doubts about Bob Barr and Mike Gravel have eased, and, though I wouldn't vote for him as a delegate, I am even willing to ease up on Wayne Root. Mary Ruwart is my #1 pick and I love Steve Cubby, but I could vote for Bob Barr or Mike Gravel if I were a delegate there. For the first time since the disappointment of 2006 changes to the LP, I feel good about our party again. I feel like we can still make social changes for the good.
To that end, I live in an area with no local LP party. I'm going to start a local one with the goal to better my community. I hope more Ron Paul supporters help the LP in parallel with the Republican Party. It only makes sense.
I missed it. Replay? Anyone know where?

Mary Ruwart
If she does not win the nomination then she should get the VP slot.
