Today 18 dedicated Ron Paul volunteers produced about 200 Campaign for Liberty signs and banners. 100 plus will be used at the Target Center. The rest will be used on the project or at the other venues.If you don't send your signs by Tuesday you should keep them at home. Use any campaign materials for citizen education in your locality. As I reported earlier the security regime around here means that most of the locations we have scouted are now off limits or they will need sign minders. Any help will be appreciated. The signs will start going up on the 30th. On the 29th I will go to the Ronstock site and leave some there for decoration and to transport to the concert(s). On the 31st we will be meeting the Ronvoys.
We will also be meeting the Freedom Walkers. Signs and banners will be displayed at both places. The afternoon of the 1st we will be in Blaine to decorate the concert venue.The signing of the routes to the RNC will be done around this schedule. Sign location "One" will be the St. Paul side of the bridge that carries hwy 5; the shortest route between the Airport and the Excel Centre, over the Mississippi River. New locations will be established depending on who arrives to help. More later

Thank you for your great outpouring of signs, banners, and even a 14 X 48 ' billboard that I would like to see on the side of the target center.
Now we need help. This winter it was easy to hang signs on the overpasses now it wont be. SPPD says we can't do it in St. Paul. I think we are going to need sign minders to guard them from harm or confiscation. It will be easier in Mpls. but we still need help in distribution.

BUSY BUSY BUSY!!!!

That's how it is here in Minneapolis/St. Paul for preparations to greet our fellow
Americans who believe in the idea of Freedom and Liberty.

I do know some are working round the clock practically gearing up for a
once in a lifetime affair. The people behind the scenes that I have been
in contact have to respond to thousands of emails, discuss plans and
coordinate efforts to insure that everything is in order.

Yesterday, an email announced that Sara Evans was making a presence
at the Rally for the Republic and I'm sure that made people applaud and
cheer. It seems that the FREEDOM message is catching on!!!!

We here, a few citizens are working at COLLECTING old Ron Paul
Revolution and Presidential signs...planning to get them up on August 30th.
We have a painting party planned for Saturday 23rd and hope to get signs
made for the Target Center. Since they aren't allowing signs, these
specific signs will be given to an organizer to make available at the rally.
Some individuals have planned to put signs up on overpasses (if they
can steer clear of the you know whos) and let people know that they
are NOT ALONE.

Perhaps by showing our love for Ron Paul...since the media won't provide
the truth...maybe the signs will provide the means to those Republicans
THAT WE MEAN BUSINESS!!!!

Ron Paul is our hero. He is so honest and squeaky clean, that those
who wish to enter in with their NEW WORLD ORDER are running scared
because of him. Ron Paul has awakened a sleeping giant and Americans
across our nation refuse to live in a socialist country run by our bankers
and corporations. Ron Paul has also stopped the new NASCO highway
and working to save our borders to the south. He also opposes the
NORTH AMERICAN UNION, in which the government wishes to join
Canada and Mexico to the USA and provide us with a NEW CONSTITUTION.

WE THE PEOPLE, are taking measures to let the elitists know that
we are MAD and we're not going to take it anymore.

I know in my city that we have 4 FREEDOM FIGHTERS campaigning, and
I know it is happening across our State of Minnesota. Believing that it is also
happening across the nation. We have one running for mayor, city council,
school board and district...and another who is running for Congress in our
area. This is a movement that will not stop now...

Minneapolis welcomes all the folks who will be here for the RNC and the
Rally for the Republic. I hope their plans to get here work out and that
everyone has a great time.

I have 4 signs and about 200 slimjims, also I have about a dozen of the limited edition ron paul buttons. I will be happy to send the signs and most of the slimjims. I am going to hold on to a handfull of slimjims and buttons for hopefully after the convention there will be some new supporters out there.

I know it's getting late, but this idea just occurred to me.

I still have a garage full of signs and boxes of slim jims left over from the PA primary that I will bring with me to St. Paul.

come on guys pull out those old Ron Paul signs and lets do this! lets show the Republican party that we are not just a small group of nobody's!! lets show them that we are a a very large group that is united and should not be taken lightly and I think blast ST.Paul with Ron Paul signs is a great why to show exactly how loud our voices can be.

If DVD4D aims to show them the philosophy of freedom and IDEAS. The SIGN BOMB aims to build on that base and show the delegates that we are REAL.

If we get the signs up there and deployed we can show the delegates that those wonderful IDEAS they heard on the DVD are not just that, but that we are REAL people working towards freedom.

It'd a materialization of the effort. We aim to let them know that there are a lot of people willing to work hard to restore the constitution. We aim to let the media know that we exists and that they can not ignore us. We aim to be a constant reminder of Freedom and Ron Paul to everyone involved in the Convention.

DVDs 4 Delegates is doing a wonderful job letting them know why Freedom's time has come. Let's help them by now showing the delegates how many people are behind these ideas.

I have slim jims, mini cards, a few wrist bands, and a several stickers. Now, with all this confusion going on concerning whether these volunteers requesting these items are real patriots or not is just that, confusing. I just want to contribute these items and get them out. Some one, anyone??? Clarity needed, and a DEFINITE ADDRESS.

A possible attempt to steal campaign materials? And do what? Melt it down and sell it to a toy factory?

I have taken a very quick look at your history here in Daily Paul and you appear to be a contributing member to the Freedom Movement. So I will be nice here, even though I feel enraged.

The information above is new to me. What I get from it is that two people who are active in Libertarian politics at the local level had a lapse of judgement or a set up or an snafu. I don't know.

What I do know is the history of the Wilkinsons as Freedom Activists and their patriotism. I have spent countless time with him on the phone arranging for this effort.

He has quite nervously volunteered his house to be slammed with mailed signs and has volunteered to spearhead the effort in St. Paul. What does he get in return from all his hard work?

Please tell me, what does he get in return from his hard work?

In 1998 I was a state delegate to the State Convention of the Minnesota Reform Party (as it was then known). I and 224 other delegates gave Jessie Ventura the Party Gubernatorial Endorsement. We have met, we don't get along.
In 1995 two other Libertarians and I started a series of Tax Cut rallies that continue to this day under new management. I helped organize and manage the first 15 or so and others continued on. I have attended all of them, by my count this spring’s was my 26th. See KTLK fm’s web site and look at the pictures. I am the guy with the tricorn hat and drum standing by the Gadsden flag.

You should tell people to PERSONALIZE their sign, so the less it looks like spam and the more it looks like sincere broad individual interest. That would send a real message.

I was just looking over some of the rules on the RNC website that were for delegates and found this one troubling: RULE NO. 4
Vacancies: (b) The Republican National Committee shall have the power to declare vacant the seat of any member who refuses to support the Republican nominee for President of the United States or Vice President of the United States.

Can anyone explain this one? Does it mean support for Ron Paul will result in declaring a vacancy?

I have a box of 2,500 of the Hope for America slim jims, but you already have 100,000 per you post and there are only about 8,000 GOP delegates and alternates in the aggregate. Please explain.

Have also 20 yard signs + metal stands, approx. 120 window signs and two 4'x8' signs. They'll ride to Minneapolis from PA for the Rally for the Republic events unless you want to pony up postage.

this is NOT our last chance to use these signs. We need Dr. Paul IN the WHITE HOUSE. One way or another, this year, not four years from now, we need him, we have to have him, it is a desperate situation. So let's get all those signs and materials out, out, out and then hopefully we will have to order more for the general election. He is willing to take the nomination. He is willing to be president. I don't blame him one bit for not wanting the job. It is a hell of a job considering the mess we are in, but the fact that he is willing to SAVE us from "ourselves and the mess we have allowed to happen" is all we need. We'll take that. If he really wanted the job, like Obama and McCain do, then we would still have a problem. With Dr. Paul, we have no problem, except the one of our own making that he will get us out of with much, much effort.

The encouraging thing is that when this whole thing started almost two years ago, the people on our side seemed very few and far between. Now they are much more obvious. There really is help out there, even in congress, if WE can just get him in. Stay focused and let's do it.

First let me start by saying that I hold Granny Warrior in the highest regard and get much of my inspiration for activism for Freedom from her. For a whole year she has worked full time towards Restoring the Republic.

I don't know of anyone else who has done so much to advance the freedom movement this last year. She has toured the country showing so many what real commitment to Freedom is. She organized the April 15th Freedom Rally in front of the Capitol on Washington D.C on a working Tuesday. About 2000 people showed up and showed Congress the power of the message. (I say a working Tuesday because Congress was in session and the people inside the Capitol kept on looking out to see the rally.)

At the April 15th Rally she put together the luminaries of the freedom movement. She got them together again in South Dakota for a whole week. And these are people like Bob Schultz of the "We the People Foundation"; The Lakota Nation Elder, who declared total sovereignty from the USA. The list of luminaries is to long to list, but she got them together and they discussed the situation and strategy.

My point is that I agree with Granny; This is not just about Ron Paul's campaign. It is about empowering ourselves to personally make a change in our lives, and to spread the message of Freedom to all people in America.

I called the Campaign for Liberty to offer to send the signs directly to them, and to ask them to support the effort. Their reply was, that they would not be able to use the signs, and more tellingly that "we don't think it is a good idea to upstage the Republican Convention."

Well, as many active people I have spoken to, including Granny, I respectfully disagree.

We have spent a year spreading the message and re-lighting the fires of Liberty. This campaign is ours. We must spread the message regardless of party affiliation and in spite of the Republicans.

I for one hope that we are able to show America at the Convention that we are no flash in the pan. And with the help of Mr. Wilkinson from the St. Paul meet up, to "Paint Saint Paul RON PAUL". Because right now he represents our quest to bring back a constitutional Republic.

There are hundreds of thousands of signs and materials around the country. And this is our last chance to use them. Let's not waste them and use them in this Last HURRAH of our presidential campaign.

I ask of all of you to make "Paint Saint Paul RON PAUL" your own. To spread the information, to ask people to send their signs. To contact your meet ups and let them know about this effort. Please feel free to direct traffic to your own page or forum, as long as the message is the same: To get all material to St. Paul and paint the town FREEDOM.
