Propaganda Campaign
I read today that Scott McClellan authored a book to be placed on sale very soon reflecting on his years serving Bush.
" McClellan writes. “But he and his advisers confused the propaganda campaign with the high level of candor and honesty so fundamentally needed to build and then sustain public support during a time of war. … In this regard, he was terribly ill-served by his top advisers, especially those involved directly in national security.” " McClellan Slams Bush, Rove, White House
And what does the above excerpt mean?
To me it means this: A propaganda campaign to sell the Iraq war to the American people was being established/premeditated by Bush and his advisers. Once the war was sold to the American people using false accusations of Iraq having WMD a propaganda campaign needed to remain intact to keep control of the funding of the war. The profiteers wanted to profit very nicely this time around.
Then McClellan adds: " "that a high level of candor and honesty so fundamentally needed to build and then sustain public support during time of war" " McClellan Slams Bush, Rove, White House
To me McClellan is saying that once the war was started the American people then deserved openness and honesty by Bush - which was needed? - after the fact that the war was sold to the American people using false accusations of WMD. To sum this up a bit better. Lie first to get the war started, make money, continue to make money, but somewhere in-between all the lies and deceit be honest?
How talented does McClellan think Bush is? Bush is only a CIA bitch, nothing more. Bush has to be linked to the little black box.
McClellan goes on to say " "candor and honesty so fundamentally needed to build and then sustain public support during a time of war. … In this regard, he was terribly ill-served by his top advisers, especially those involved directly in national security.” " McClellan Slams Bush, Rove, White House
So, Bush was ill-served how? First, Bush and his advisers plot/premeditate a war based on false accusations, get the war sold and started, use any excuse necessary at any given time to keep the American people sold, make money, make more money, then blame Bush's unpopularity on being ill-advised by who? The other plotters?
The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round.
The wheels on the bus go round and round all through the town.
It's only about the bus fare - nothing more.
