*********I'M UBER DEPRESSED********
I MISS THE OLD DAYS OF THE REVOLUTION.
Remember in December and January when we were at the top of our game? Like the old money bomb days? I just remember the song "yo were having a tea party, on december sixteeth, ron paul taught us all revolution hits deep."
ron paul radio and rpr were the place to hang out. now their both closed. now freeme.tv is gone. ronpaulnation.com is gone. everything of the old days is gone.
the primaries are almost over and i remember when we had these extreme mobilization efforts where we would be like crazy. and then i remember the blimp.
i wanna stick wit the old days but their over. a lot of classic people i know are gone. a lot of classic things i know are gone.
look at our page ranking on alexa. dailypaul was up so high during january and december, ultra-classic days. now their gone. they were the good old dayz.
maybe i just cant move on. does anyone feel the way i feel? please help.
ps.- im not trying to bring down the morale of the revolution.

OKAY, im better now. i just
OKAY, im better now. i just kinda had a moment.
but seriously, im NOT a bob barr supporter. of course, i like some of barr's ideas, but i hate him as a politician. and many of his stances are AGAINST LIBERTY.
if anybody got depressed off of this thread, IM SORRY. victory, im sorry if it seemed as if i was an enemy of the revolution. ive been here since the beginning, so its kinda hard to transition.
and "iamvoting4ron paul" or whatever your name is, why did u have to insult me? i kno i shouldn't have vented on this forum, but ur just hurtful.

Thank you.
Thank you Realdeal :). This video brings me up when I'm down.
Tomorrow, I'm going out to campaign for Murray Sabrin, who is campaigning in my state.
Your encouraging video has made my day, or, er, night.
Thank you.
I knew you would come through!
I wake up happy and excited for us and you should too! The cup is half full my friend! Whoo Hoo! LIBERTY!
I have a thought I keep close to my heart every day ..
"Ron Paul will win in the most spectacular way!!!"
I agree!
I couldn't have said it better myself :)
Let's keep the Revolution going, not only in a physical way, but in our hearts.
no apology needed in my opinion
I feel one of the most important functions of this site is a place where we can come and "let our hair down." I disagree about "not venting on this forum" although I know I am in the minority. I think letting newcomers see that we are real, we have "moments" and we support each other through it all is more important than worrying about scaring people off with horrible words like "truth." ;)
Glad you're feeling better.
Amazing words
paul4won: Thank you so much for your words. I couldn't agree with you more.
We are all brothers and sisters in this and we need to stay that way. Yeah, brothers and sisters have arguments, but they're always there for each other in the end :)
Wounded but not
Conquered. Don't forget that. We just had 30,000 vote for Ron Paul in Idaho. This is far from over. It is hard to do life and the revolution, some can't hang, thank God we can. July 12th is gonna be awesome.
nobody's going to do it for you

general forum consensus is that together they would be a refreshing pair...

It would certainly excite the general public...let alone, the revolution. woohoo!
life
When you get as old as I am, you'll have seen a lot of great things come and go. Let it go, evolve, accept the changes so that the new can happen. I didn't think there would ever be another Michael Jordan level of basketball player and, well, oh well, I guess there hasn't been anyone to fill his shoes yet, bad example...
The revolution will have many faces and take many shapes.
I to have been feeling it my friend
heres a flash to the past:
http://www.youtube.com/wa...
let it not be said we did nothing.
WE DID SOMETHING!
Theres still more to do we must be ready at all time to come to the add of freedom.
Keep your head up patriot. REMEMBER! REMEMBER! You can't kill an idea whos time has come!
Can WE
please end the therapy session?
Throw a barbeque and invite
Throw a barbeque and invite your neighbors! That'll do you some good!
The therapy session...
for this ragtag band of social misfits will end when someone who supports the Constitution is the President of the U.S.A.
But this is only my opinion.
Good night all.
Rightly so.
Hopefully this is some sort of consolation, my friend.
I began the patriotic movement 30 years ago at age 16. My family and I endured sacrifices most American’s wouldn’t even believe (from wire tapping to governmental murder attempts).
When the IRS and bankers had stolen everything they could get away with stealing, all six of us left the Black Hills with just the clothes we were wearing (squeezed in a small single bench-seat 1968 pickup cab). Although every one of us was exhausted, we had to leave for Sioux City, Iowa at about midnight during a blizzard. (Sounds like an excerpt from a dimestore novel, huh? I just thought of that.)
When I heard Ron Paul was running again I was really excited, since I’ve always maintained that if we Americans were allowed to buy and sell with money instead of debt vouchers, most of our nation’s troubles would correct themselves over time.
Our struggle for freedom is about to change course. We’ve had one humdinger of an education. Now we must resume the revolution in a different manner; perhaps completely on our own. The process will be unpleasant given all the Capitol Hill trash we’ll be up against. Those educated domination-drunken idiots live in a completely different world (thy generally see us as cattle that sometimes interfere with government “progress.” Most of them are convinced that we’re just supposed to be satisfied with our collective role of a working machine—we’re the government’s workers who exist to fund the coporate complex. We only have collective rights, as far as they are concerned.
But I agree with you! Passing from one timeframe to the next is in itself a big test of courage.

shout-outs to SirFelix, GREEDisBAD, and quiltingsando...

...for showing the grace, compassion, kindness and downright class of Dr. Paul. You all gave superlative suggestions.
It is not over for The Remnant.
"I am pleased with the number of true believers", declared Dr. Paul just a week ago in San Diego. He was really upbeat...and if you can work towards getting yourself to the march and the convention, with 10,000 other Ron Paul supporters, it may end up being the highpoint...the tipping point...of our lifetimes. We will show the world that we cannot be denied, newguineafan.

On one thread you say you're uber depressed

Now you see..
Instead of attacking a fellow supporter who may not be as strong willed as you people right now, GREEDisBAD made a post that invigorated me. This is what we should be doing.
Helping each other, not hurting each other.
But this is only my opinion.
and by the way, When I first started visiting the daily paul, I can remember that newguineafan made some of the most wonderful, and inspirational posts and comments.
Thanks. Let's get this going! This is for ALL OF US!
FOR LIBERTY!!!

Seriously .. could somebody translate?
It is ok you can take a deep breath......
and move on with your guy Bob Barr you were trying to sell everyone on. I am not buying your whole "everything is all over with Ron Paul" little ploy.
umm...no i support bob barr
umm...no i support bob barr 0%...i support ron 100%
im just saying that bob barr has ideas of freedom and liberty too, even tho hes not even as close to as good as ron paul
I was feeling like you.
I'm feeling better. Why, you may ask? I'll tell you why. A crazy little thread that suggested getting an elephant. It made me laugh, something I hadn't done in a long time. It was like oh yes, this is the stuff that used to get us fired up. Then someone suggested today to have a Ron Paul t-shirt day. Again I'm thinking oh yes, this is for me. Little things that get you pumped.
Think about it, what little things get you excited then post it here and let us get excited. Let's put the fun back in the revolution. We can't wait for someone to come along with the ideas and action. Look at the Granny warriors, man I would love to go to that it is going to be the Woodstock of Revolutions if you could make it there I would guarantee you would be recharged because you would be among friends. I remember the early days and the numbers but when you think about it, we're actually more numbers now because we know over a million people voted for Dr. Paul. There are over 300 people on here all day long. Think about it people stopping by all day keeping in touch. The best way to long the blues is get busy even if it's putting on you Ron Paul shirt or button and going for a walk.
It's ok to be down sometimes but it's not ok to stay down. Peace
Excellent post.
Thank You.
I hate this phrase
but in this case, I think it is appropriate - get a life!
I remember GhenghisKhan before he left us...
to battle for the Revolution..
And he said that we should encourage fellow supporters, and only post positive things.
Although this thread is somewhat depressing, we could with logic and common sense postings, turn it around to help the Revolution.
Attacking fellow supporters does not help the Revolution.
That is a very noble
attitude, but this guy was shilling for Bob Barr the other day so doubtful is a fellow supporter. He is trying to sow seeds of doubt and depression among the real supporters. Khan would have seen through it in an instant.
I don't believe that he is trying to sow seeds of doubt...
I too miss the heights of the Revolution. If we could only have won just one state. I hope we win just one of the last few states. Each Primary that comes along, we are getting more votes, but not yet the majority.
Did the Revolution start too late? I don't know. Maybe too late for this election cycle, but we all know, that all of us here will never relent. This is a lifetime quest for Constitutional government.
But each of us, will sometimes post things that we personally believe will help our eventual goals. Sometimes the hoard responds favorably, and sometimes the hoard runs their sabre through you.
Put aside our small differences and let the hoard as a whole decide what is best for the hoard.
I didn't like the Bob Barr idea, but other people did.
I personally like the Jesse Ventura/ Ron Paul idea but others may not like it.
The point is that all those seeking Liberty should be embraced, not necessarily followed blindly, but embraced as brothers in our quest.
But, this is only my opinion.
he...
is...
You have every right to your opinion
but that is what I felt from his post. The height of the Revolution could be ahead of us not in the past.
If this poster had been part of Khan's hoard,
he would have "run him through" with his blade.

You should be…
… Where in the hell did you learn to write? Honestly, your post makes you look like you didn't go past the second grade. Sorry, but the post loses all meaning for readers when the author writes like a dope. I swear, my eight year old nephew has far better grammar and writing skills. Sad, so very sad.
BTW: Uber isn't even a word. Where did that come from, a video game?
"It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." Samuel Adams
Are only the educated (grammar and writing) allowed to comment?
Desert Rat be thankful that you had the opportunity to get an education. Many of my older relatives had to drop out of school to support their families. They are not dopes, they are wise and intelligent people. They are not arrogant intellectuals. I prefer wisdom over arrogance. Please try to be a little more considerate in regards to people's education. Those same people are the ones who will help you when your car is stalled on the side of the road (as the intellectuals drive by to get to their next college class).
Wow that was waay harsh Ty *(from clueless-you know, the movie)
Do I pass your grammar test? PS "uber" is a new fangled word the crazy kids are using these days lighten up dude and leagalize 420
"Truth" and "History" are relative...
He is speaking in slang purposely..
Listen to the message, not the poor transmission. But I am glad that you posted something, because the Samuel Adams quote brings back memories, and is so true of what we are up against.
I can understand your depression
because you were one of the guys here a couple of days ago trying to sell everyone on the wonderful qualities of Bob Barr and it did not work out. I remember your name. I think our morale is better than ever. Now everyone is coming out of the woodwork so maybe there is an understanding that Ron Paul and the Revolution are not going away.
I empathize!
It does feel like the RNC will be "the end" for any "national" group vs. state activities.
If you have been interested in the "big picture" threads, Devon Saunders has started a new forum for the threads people kept objecting to here:
http://forums.libertylove...
Just think....
Have you thought about going to St. Paul in September? I have a feeling it will be like the "old days."
"im not trying to bring down the morale of the revolution"
What a bunch of crap!
Are you part of the problem or part of the solution? Right now, you're part of the problem.
I suggest you go and read about the crossing of the Delaware and George Washington's men before you whine about not being able to hang out at Ron Paul Radio.
Go be depressed somewhere else. How self-indulgent.
