the correct answer is the the cost of gas and everything else is partly due to the devaluation of the US dollar. Bill O'Reilly sucks. If theres someone who really needs to get slapped in the face and wake up, its him.

Answering "the U.S. government" seems like it's perpetuating the
myth that the government controls gas prices.
The law of supply and demand is what is responsible for rising gas prices. Yes, the government has some regulations that artificially restrict supply, but those restrictions have been in place for a long time. Most of the upward move lately in prices is due to increasing demand relative to supply, due to a rapid economic expansion around the world.

Yeah I'm not going to give him the time of day either. Advocating here to participate in an Orily poll is heresy because he's part of the problem with this country. Fascism indeed. I would suggest not to give any credence to Fox or any of their hosts websites with a single page hit.
Another fine point is why a poll on something that should be common sense? That's like having a poll on why large breasted women really have back problems. Is it because of their breast size, poor genetics, or poorly made bra's imported from china (here's looking at you dobbs).
OReally gets nada attention from me. I want to puke when I hear the word Hannity, Colmes, OReily, Morning Joe or Mica. About the only MSM guy I can stand is Olbermann.
