Jewish People and Ron Paul
Hello, I've been wondering for some time now if Ron Paul and his loyal supporters, the Ron Paul Revolution and all are against Jewish people ?? Is this true or false or what? I've seen a few anti jewish stuff on some Ron Paul videos online.
I mean I have friends that are jewish and I don't want to be part of a anti-jewish movement.
So whats the deal?

Get Educated On The Word "Zionism"
The real problem that the Jews face is how they are clumped together with Zionism and Israel. I have many Jewish friends and business colleagues - and all of them are good-natured, hard working, American-loving people.
Zionism and the nation of Israel are a very different thing, however. The political ideology of Zionism (a Jewish Nation, at all costs) is testing the moral limits of the civilized world. It's tactics are completely in line with the worst of Nazism (torturing, starving the Palestinians, etc.). And sadly, they were likely involved in 9/11. Their intelligence knew we were going to be attacked by Arabs and they let it happen without telling the CIA, FBI, etc. Why? Because Zionism is all about Israel - at any cost. And letting the attacks happen on 9/11 would only strengthen our government's support for their nation. This is an absolute reality.
What always amazes me is that most non-Jewish people support Israel for religious reasons. But after reading Jimmy Carter's book and many others about Israel, as well as watching countless YouTube videos on the subject, I have come to the conclusion that Israel has to be the least God-fearing nation on the planet. They are a continent of atheists.
What I think needs to happen is the Jewish community in America needs to get seriously engaged. They need to challenge the notion of Israel and all the channels that shamelessly stuff it down our throats (political, the media, churches, etc.). Because honestly, one of the major threats to the Jewish community is the eventual violent retaliation against Zionism by US citizens. The problem is when this happens, most Americans won't know the difference between a Jewish citizen and an ardent Zionist. They will think they are the same thing and they are certainly not. A huge wave of anti-semitism is waiting in the wings and if the Jewish community does not do something soon they are going to be lumped together with the Zionists and will face a fate far worse than the Holocaust.
You can love a Jew but reject Zionism, just like you can love a German but reject Nazism.
What? No... nobody here is
What? No... nobody here is against Jewish PEOPLE.
We just happen to think that we shouldn't give money/weapons to Israel or ANY country. We also think that we shouldn't be in any alliances with ANY country, including Israel. That doesn't mean we can't be friends, we just shouldn't make ourselves obligated to fight for one country, hold another back, be a kind of police man, or tell others what to do.
There are a lot of people who feel that because of our close relationship with Israel that we are unfairly biased towards them and go out of our way to help them, giving them money, etc.

If you will truly search the r3VOLution philosophy.
You will find that Dr.Paul is the right choice for everyone muslums ,jews ,atheist and christians.
Neither do I!
I will be back with a link in a bit, but basically; The tradionalistic jews believe that the jewish religion is being exploited to bring about the creation of israel. They believe that their OLD, OLD writings/teachings say that if god's children ever got kicked out of jerusalem, it would be because they failed god. If that were to happen, (it did, around 2000 YEARS ago) then they are to spread throughout the world and work to bring all of god's children, of ALL RELIGIONS, together in peace. To work for the creation of a jewish state (and self-agrandizement(sp-?)) would be SOOO offensive to god. It could even be considered a travesty! That is why thousands of jewish people gather not only in times square, but also at the WESTERN WALL, yearly, to burn the flag of israel in protest of this offense. The slang word for those who have taken the jewish religion, and history of persecution, and the world guilt attatched to all that history, are called ZIONISTS.
America has absolutely NO BUSINESS trying to tell the world how to behave. Our job is to provide the Light of Freedom for Humanity, NOT dictate morals afar, OR HERE.

What would Ron Paul do
Before Ron Paul I never thought of viewing people as individuals. I always had an open mind but when i started using this motto life has become even more interesting. By viewing people by there individual merits that wall of stereotypes is broken, destroyed. Until proven otherwise I harbor no hate towards Jews nor Israelis. It just not there. I support Ron Paul.

This makes me suspicious of the Youtube comments, of course.

I, my family and many of my friends are Jewish and strongly support Ron Paul. Unfortunately a few Dr. Paul supporters group the entire Jewish people with the Israeli politicians in the Israeli government.
It would be like saying that all American or Christians are criminals because of what Bush and Cheney did... It just doesn't make any sense.
It's unfortunate but like in any group or movement there's always going to be some misguided followers. I just wished that people would realize that most people are good and greedy politicians ruin things for all of us. Jews, Christians, Muslims etc are all getting screwed by their politicians. Period.

But if we were attacked and congress agreed and voted to go to war threw a declaration (as the Constitution says we should) he will definitely go to war.
When he votes no on somthing unconstitutional he is saying yes which is the same as voting yes to peace, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

I supported a Jewish candidate for president twice
In 1992 and 1996, I voted for Ron Paul's long-time friend Howard Phillips, who has been a vocal supporter of Ron Paul for 30 years.
Political Zionism is what I oppose, not Religious Judaism or individual persons. But as a political movement, Zionism is poison.
Jews are people.
The United States government mischievously pretends to support Israel under the guise of “peace in the Middle East.” I think the US government is simply using Israel to manipulate (bully) that part of the world (including Israel). The whole pathetic thing is one gigantic disgrace to all of humanity.
Ron Paul just wants to let everybody alone. He despises foolishness. Paul just wants to abandon the US policy of causing danger around the world in the name of potential gain. (A lot more to it than that, but that’s the gist of it.)

we are all created equally
we are all created equally and should be treated as such. RP sees you as individuals, not by race or gender. RP wants to stop the US from subsidizing Israel, but more importantly, Israel's enemies. We play each side against the other. Our interference in Israel's affairs has made both countries less safe.
Anyone who is a racist does not stand for RP or our movement.

very well stated
very good -
the Libertarian view - absolutely!
that's bogus
RP is labeled negatively only because he does not agree with
funding money to ANY country ... (now USA gives Israel some but
even more to her enemies) where is the sense in this ?
Following the Constitution - you should treat all other nations equally -
this means - nothing for all of them.
Dr Paul is a Christian and I am sure he is well aware of Biblical teachings
that the Jews are God's chosen ... By treating all nations the same -
does not mean that he is against Israel .... no way!
I am a Christian and have seen from RP's campaign how the majority
of Christians - don't get RP's stance ....
They talk about the Constitution - but only if it is driven by our Christian
beliefs (and you can't have that and truly abide by the Constitution)
Plus, these fellow believers are usually wanting Big Government ....
That want the Constitution - but they want it their way.
God's Chosen people is incorrect and not a Christian teaching
This is a point that is distorted by many christians who dont understand the bible. God's chosen people comes from the Old Testament. Then Christ was sent so that all people could be forgiven of their sins and have eternal life. The Bible says that the only way to enter heaven is to accept Jesus as your savior therefore Jews would not enter the kingdom of heaven according to the bible. Also there are many different types of Jewish people Sephardic and Ashekenazi. Ashekenazi Jews are from a land called Khazaria and they converted to judaism in the 9th century and are not decendants of Abraham.Technically they arent even semetic peoples and the funny thing is the Palestinians are semites. Im not even a Christian either. The New Testament overides the Old as it is supposedly Gods words in a later time period. Im agnostic so I don't believe any of it. It is just odd to me to hear Chrstians talking about how a religion that says Christ was a pagan and those who worship him are idolators are the chosen people.
NO, just because they are not elect now,
doesn't mean they are cast off forever- Read Romans 11 for clarification.

Ask any Orthodox Rabbi
Jews are forbbidden to come out of exile until the Messianic Era. This is clearly spelled out in the Torah but more so in the Talmud. Read the works of vayoel moshe a Satmar Rabbi who clearly states that even if the jews come out of exile and abide by every law in the Torah which they clearly arent doing now that would be forbidden as well . How can you establish a holy land if the majority of the people their are atheists? The talmud which by most Jewish sects overridest he Torah clearly states the 3 oathes of Judaism. The first oath is to not ascend to the holy land in group by force, 2nd oath is to not rebel against the governments of the countries they we live in,#rd is to not prolong the coming of moshiach (messiah) by our sins. As written in Tractate Kesubos 111a.

I get your drift
I was just trying to clarify. Sorry
I can only speak for myself...
I don't know the difference between "Jewish people" and "Israeli people"? I myself have nothing against any other human being. Its my opinion, the US government for some reason shows a distinct favoritism towards the state of Israel. Its been said, we have many "Jews" in our U.S . government? I just recognize the Constitution and its recommendation of trade with all and alliance with none. I believe some religious people dislike or don't agree with the Jewish faith? On a personnel note, I've noticed one of my senators from CT. (Joseph Lieberman) has a interesting contact form on his website. When contacting him, looking at his "Prefix" http://lieberman.senate.g... , I think it should be Mr., Mrs, Miss or Ms, and thats it.Though thats my opinion. I just say obey the Constitution... "Onward" >>>>
What you believe too be true, is true too you...
Not all Jews are Zionists
Just like everyone who is in the Mafia is Italian, but not all Italians are in the Mafia. You don't see Italians going around defending the Mafia. To do so would cast suspicion on them all.
Zionists are the enemy not
Zionists are the enemy not your every day jew. The problem though is that 99% of zionists are jewish, at least the ones in the govt are. I`d say anytime you see the word jew on here or on a video, it means zionist. Most people wont know what a zionist is thus some people prefer to call them jews or jewish zionists. I am however curious so may I ponder this hypothetical question to you; if your "jewish friends" knew you were anti-zionist would they still be your "friends"? If the answer is yes then you have true friends.
Define Zionism please...
If Zionism means simply the goal of a Jewish state in their historical homeland, I don't see why there should be any opposition to it, If on the other hand it means endorsing what the Israeli government does regardless, then even I ,who support Israel's right to exist wthin conventionally defensible borders very strongly, oppose it.
. Libera me, let the truth break, what my fears make--Leslie Phillips

http://www.jewsagainstzio...
Zionism is a political movement not a religious one
Zionism is a political movement that seeks to establish a homeland for all Jews by any means possible. AN act that is strictly prohibited by the Torah and the Talmud. Jews are supposed to live in dispora until their messiah comes to earth. That is one of the basic principle of Judaism. They were scattered across the earth by G-d and arent even supposed to have a homeland . During the 40's almost all of the Hassedic groups opposed the forceful creation of the state of Israel. Most of the Jews living in the "holy land" today are atheists. Also the whole Moses 10 commandments thing about not killing and not coveting arent being followed when you take peoples land houses and farms. Look at videos from Rabbi Weiss or youtube search Neturei Karta. Almost all hassedic jewish groups that is to say religious jewish groups oppose the state of israel. Satmar, Neturei Karta etc Pretty much the only hassedic group that supports the forceful taking of land is Hassedi Gur.SO Zionism is a political Movement Not religious.
I understand the ideal, but considering the Holocaust,
and other persecution of Jewish people, are they to flee from one land to another
as their lives are hunted down by their enemies? I understand the call to take the Torah to the nations before the Messiah comes, but what about Ezekiel 37 and the dry bones illustration? BTW I agree that the Torah should be followed when you take lands and houses. If it was done according to Torah, but before Messiah comes, could that be legitimate?
Libera me, let the truth break, what my fears make--Leslie Phillips
An interesting question to
An interesting question to ask would be why do jews get persecuted so often.
You shuld study the Talmud.
The Talmud is considered the more shall we say holy book of the two. Torah and Talmud. In cases of contridictions the Talmud is to be considered the final say. As I posted in the poast above the 3 oathes laid out in the Talmud clearly prevent any return to the holy land until the messianic era en masse. Now there were already thousands of Jews livingin in Palestine before the creation of Israel and the actually lved side by side in unity. When the Zionist armies came in expelling the arabs from the land every Jew in palestine protested this knowing full well they are forbidden to forcefully take a land for there people. That is the whole point of the messiah to end the exile of Jews. The largest ultra orthodox group in Satmar takes the position that " It has been these Zionist groups that have attracted the Jewish people and have violated the oath of establishing a jewish entity before the arrival of the messiah. It is because of Zionist that 6 millon jews were killed" Rabbi Teitelbaum That is his quote.
Neturei Karta www.nkusa.org

Learn the difference betwenn Judaism and Zionism. Real Torah believing jews despise Zionism as do I. Check out the link its Ultra Orthodox Jews against Zionism. They burn Israeli flags and wave Palestinian ones.

An Open Letter to the Jewish Community in Behalf of Ron Paul
by Walter Block
-Explains Ron Paul's views on Israel
I think you will find that
I think you will find that most aren't against Jews at all. Murray Sabrin, one of Ron Paul's good friends and endorsed by him for his Congressional run in New Jersey, is Jewish whose parents survived the Holocaust. There is a misnomer that people who are against Zionism hate Jews, which couldn't be further from the truth. I don't like Nazism but that doesn't mean I hate all German people.
http://www.jewsagainstzio...
Many Jews are against Zionism as well. Most of the members of the neo-conservative think tank PNAC were zionists and we saw what that brought us.
Just do a bit of investigation and you will see that the Revolution nor Ron Paul are anti-semitic in any way whatsoever. Hope that helps.
oops
I didn't mean "no" to Neoconned. I meant "no" to anti-semitism.
No
Ron Paul helped found the Ludwig Von Mises institute out of his own pocket and serves on the Board to this day. Von Mises was Jewish. Dr. Paul was also friends with, and strongly influenced by, the late Murray Rothbard, also Jewish.
Unfortunately, because Ron Paul always votes against aid to Israel and against military adventurism in the Middle East, those who lobby for US aid to Israel and intervention in the Middle East (AIPAC, for example) have labeled him anti-semitic. Not publicly, of course, but privately. Through the rumor mill. That is how they attack anyone who disagrees with their agenda.
Of course he doesn't just vote against aid to Israel, he votes against aid to ALL other countires. But you wouldn't say he is anti-human. He is just opposed to taking money out of your pocket and giving it to another country. It isn't Constitutional and it isn't good policy.
I can't speak for all his followers, but I have never know any personally that were pursuing an anti-semitic agenda. And I have no anti-semitic agenda. I don't even have an opinon about Zionism. It isn't my country, it isn't my problem, it isn't my business. We should stay out of it.
AHH, a voice of reason...
from your favorable quote concerning all foreign aid, I agree wholeheartedly with you. American tax payers have enough to pay for helping our own citizens, let those who want to help foreign countries find a charity or foreign gov. agency to donate to themselves. Just leave the Federal government and my tax dollars out of it. (is that about what you think?)
Libera me, let the truth break, what my fears make--Leslie Phillips
Yup, that is what I think
I believe in charity. But charity is an individual matter freely chosen. Otherwise it has no moral basis.
If somebody wants to help Israel with their OWN money or even buy a gun and fly over there to fight for Zionism, that is fine with me. Or if someone wants to support the Palestinians. Fine. I don't care what they do with THEIR lives and THEIR money. Just leave me, my money, and my children out of it.
Our government has no Constitutional or moral basis for shaking down US taxpayers to support foreign governments.
Besides, much of our foreign aid is actually just a roundabout subsidy for our own military industries. It is corrupt.
then I have a confession to make...
my husband actually converted me to Ron Paul by convincing me that aid to Israel and other nations, especially militarily, does the nations who recieve it more harm than good. When he convinced me of this, I became a full-fledged Ron Paul supporter with no reservations.
Libera me, let the truth break, what my fears make--Leslie Phillips
Welcome
