Dr paul was not opposed to impeachment he simply thought it should be brought by the Judiciary Commitee that is was this is please call today. !!!!!! The crimes of this administration are enormous: a widespread policy of torture and murder; a war that has killed a million Iraqis, 4,000 U.S. service members and devastated the lives of so many more; sophisticated programs for spying on U.S. citizens; lying to the public.
The future threats posed are ominous. As Ramsey Clark recently wrote: "In his remaining eight months, President Bush will continue to threaten other nations in violation of international law and clearly intends to commit new aggressions in his belligerent presidency. If not stopped by impeachment he may strike Iran's nuclear projects and immerse the United States in avoidable war for a generation far more exhausting than any we have known."
Today, Tuesday June 3, is the National Call-In Day for Impeachment. Take a moment right now and call Rep. John Conyers, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee at 202-225-5126, 202-224-3121, 202-225-3951, 313-961-5670, or 734-675-4084. Demand that articles of impeachment be introduced by July 4.
Over one million people have voted to impeach Bush, Cheney and other high officials for high crimes and misdemeanors. It's time for Congressman Conyers to hear from you.

I just called again on my cell...the guy I talked to says they have "asked" McClellan to appear before congress! "asked?" I advised the guy that McClellan should be handcuffed and brought in to congress and put under oath and forced to testify. These people obviously don't think we are serious.

I called at about 3:00 EST and unloaded on some poor chump at Conyers office...I called 202-225-3951 ....he had to put me on hold 4 times..He sounded rattled. Remind these assholes that Conyers has an obligation to the constitution to bring impeachment hearings. I advised the staffer to tell Conyers to grow a pair and do his job or resign and allow someone with integrity to take over. Best long disatnce call I ever paid for. I think I will call again on my cell.
Our goal is one million calls in 24 hour so alert everyone you know. We have found the "smoking gun" and it was not in the form of a mushroom cloud. It was someone from Bush's inner circle...the smoking gun is Scott McClellan. The Prez and Vice LIED us into war! Hang'em High my friends.

Reason for Impeachment
This doesn't have to do with international law. It's US law. McClellan admitted Bush leaked the identity. Here's the law that will prosecute him and the same law that prosecuted Libby. Bush pardoned Libby because it was Bush that did it. Libby was just following orders. Now Bush can be prosecuted and Libby will get off free because of double jeopardy.

I've called Wexler, Conyers, and the House Judiciary Committee today. I feel awesome today!
The lady who answered the phone at the House Judiciary Committee was also receptive to take my support for impeachment. I would suggest calling both Conyers office and the H.J.C.

Please specifically mention Impeachment for treason in leaking Valarie Plame's name as it is more than a felony to do so. It's treason... which is punishable by death? With McClellan now it's the best hope for real impeachment.

State Representatives...
Why should I call Conyers? Shouldn't we call our respective state representatives? Conyers represents Michigan...
Wexler is my representative (Florida) and he's on a campaign for impeachment proceedings on Bush and Cheney. I knew he would be more receptive of my call to support impeachment proceedings. I also let his staffer know he's got my support to bring criminal proceedings against Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove, Rice, Libby, and Armitage.
Conyers sent a letter threatening to impeach if Iran is attacked
I call often and beg him not to let innocent Iranians die before he brings the proceedings.
Tell everyone you see to call today - when you pump gas, whatever! We have just a few hours left to BRING THE HEAT!!!

Phone rang about 15 times. Just repeated what I said to Wexler's staffer about supporting impeachment and criminal proceedings. His voice was a bit elevated in surprise when I mentioned criminal proceedings so I elaborated using the word "treason".
I asked if Conyers was the one who could bring impeachment proceedings against Bush and Cheney since he was on the Judiciary Committee. He said "any representative can make an article of impeachment but yes he would be the one to do it".
I also heard plenty of other phones ringing in the background.

I am an old lady and have alot of trouble with modern technology...anyway, no matter what number I dial, I get a message..."sorry a long distance access code is required"(something to that effect)...so therefore, I cannot call and voice my displeasure with Bush et al still not being impeached...I tried.... I do not know what a long distance access code is.....
