rEVOLution Manifesto: myManifesto (Obamunist Free)

(Sorry Mr. Nystrom I was getting buried and wanted to consolidate my thoughts on this subject so I could add or change it as it evolves.)

The Race:

PlanA - Obviously was to get Paul the nomination. Unless McCain spontaniously implodes we need to move to on. After the convention I anticipate the single biggest exodus of a political party we have ever seen.

PlanB - Set the stage for a 3rd party run and/or secure a VP spot on another ticket. What planets have to be aligned for Paul to make a Bull run I have no idea. Since he wants to protect our House seat. But does this bar him from being a VP on another ticket? I would not think so, but I concede that I do not l know fo sure.

- Enter the other tickets: Barr/Root = no open spot. I'm not thrilled with the ticket but if Barr can get on stage with Obama and McCain that would be a significant milestone. ChuckB/??? (forgive me I'm not sure what the status is on his VP choice) = the CP's ballot access languishes and Chucks exucutive experience is perhaps the most exploitable aspect to his candidacy. Finally, although he is undeclared I will name Jessie Ventura as at least debateably acceptable. Could be paired with Paul on a Paul/Ventura ticket if Paul sees victory. Or a Ventura/Paul ticket if this is the loophole that allows Paul to hold our House seat. But this still leaves us the issue of ballot access. It may be argued that it is too late, but until I see proof I believe it is not only posible but tangible.

Ventura would have to be able to compete and stand on his own without Paul. Then when he eclipses the MSM join with Paul. Money is an issue and again ballot access is the biggest issue I see.

There is a particular dynamic involved with 3rd parties and that is the split vote. No 3rd party that is acceptable to back, won't split that vote and we can't make the opposition run a 3rd party candidate to split their vote for us.

Enter Voter consent laws: Statement of Principle: All legitimate consent requires the ability to withhold consent; therefore, the legitimate consent of voters requires they be able to withhold their consent in an election to office.

This means None of the Above or NOTA and the option to withhold consent. Many conservatives that do not appove of McCain but also do not really support Paul could write-in NOTA. HRC supporters who will not support Obama for the sake of unity can write-in NOTA as a protest to the party.

If NOTA can compete in a 4 way race. The percentage of votes required to win drops. The other camps votes should be divided where as our vote should be unified.

PlanC - Support whomever RP supports should RP on any ticket not be available. If this means Barr, I'll do it if I have to but i prefer ChuckB.

PlanD - NOTA should be the fallstop for all other activity. Meaning if you cannot vote principle then you would rather withhold consent. NOTA is not something we can participate in this time around if we are to have a unified vote in favor of a non-mainstream candidate. But that doesn't mean we can't promote it. For if you consider voter consent laws in a vacuum. It is a worthy stand alone cause that should be anyway reguardless of what is happening within the rEVOLution.

2009 - 2012

Whatever becomes of the November election. Wether we pull off a miracle or not. Ron Paul in the Whitehouse or the House of Representatives will need allies. Ron Paul Republicans, Libertarian, and Constitutionalists must step up and challenge seats in their area at the local level on up.

There is not any one thing that we should be fully focused on, the battle must be fought on many fronts. For many years a divide and conquer strategy has been employed upon us but now the paradigm has shifted. We are becoming alive. Our ideas of liberty are coallessing around one another and spreading. We are no longer the subject of divide and conquer. We are viral and the message cannot be stopped. There is no antidote. We must continue to spread the freedom message far and wide.

Sabrin and others are a great start. But in just 2.5 short years from now will be 2010 mid-term elections. Then will be/must be our time. Because that will be when the stage is set for 2012.

There are 180000 precints in the US. If you are not a precint captain you should be. If every precinct in the country had a precint captain we would blanket support nationwide.

For every precint there is also a Precint Committee Officer (PCO) You need to be one of these aswell. You need to run for this position.

As a PCO you are an automatic delegate. The PCO's elect other PCO's, Chair, and Committee persons. This is one of the most important things you can do right now. Because time is running out. There are deadlines to meet and papers to file.

You do not need to go threw your local party if you do not want to. You can go directly to your state elections office to submit the paperwork. Your local meet-up should be able to help.
