Let's see what Ron Paul

has to say to us July 12th before any of you decide to jump ship. Are some of you this easy to manipulate? Don't you think the neocons will do anything to divide us? It is obvious that they could plant anyone anywhere to further their agenda. Keep your eye on the prize, and please quit throwing Bob Barr in our face. Start throwing him in our face when Ron Paul says we need to back him.

Well Tog how do we know your not here to divide us

You just joined this forum, I have been here nearly from the beginning.

Either you don't listen or you just listen to what you want to hear.

Ron Paul has said, "Bob Barr is a great friend of mine, a good man, and an ally."

He also said he won't endorse Barr or Baldwin because they both worked hard for him and his campaign.

However, I would wager that he will campaign for both.

Yeehaa and stuff.

I’m so excited. :– |

Actually, I’ll check it out. Thanks for the post.

Who Cares?

???

Following who???

McCain voted for the Patriot Act, the Iraq War and was on Colbert's show.....who's footsteps is Barrf following again???

How

nice

Neo -con

Bob Barr is a Neo -Con.

Beware the wolf in sheep's clothing.

You have NO idea what NeoCon means

Bob Barr is considered and always has been, the second most Libertarian member of the House of Representatives. He is so far from NeoCon its funny.

I am glad you think you know more than Ron Paul, because Ron Paul said, "Bob Barr is a great friend, a good man, and an ally of mine"

I don't think Ron Paul would say that about any NeoCon.

So quit posting propaganda against one of Ron Paul's friends

I am not sure about the rest

I am not sure about the rest of you but I was new to the movement as well- I had to have Ron Paul bring me the light.

Congressmen Barr has seen the light and has a pretty good chance of spreading our message, even Dr. Paul says he is an Ally to the cause of liberty.

I will be supporting Barr/Root in 2008, although they are not any where near Dr. Paul on his principles- I think Barr is sincere in his change- and is a good person to lead us into the next round!

If we sit back and watch McCain win- he will ruin republicans- and cost us real Republicans another 8 years- If we cost him the election with Barr, and maybe Barr could win- we can show these Neo-Cons that real Republicans are here to stay!

If we dont accecpt people changing to our point of view- our movemnet will never get bigger!

McCain stands absolutely no

McCain stands absolutely no chance of winning even if all the Barr/Paul/Baldwin/Nader people voted for him. The dems have McCain out voted 3 to 1.

I hope you're right, but I

I hope you're right, but I don't think a lot of hillary supporters in PA /WV/ AND Ohio will vote for BHO. No way. They'll stay home. I also don't think the country will go that far to the left. I think the country will vote dem congress in a landslide and McCain for pres. My question is how do we stop McCain? I don't know.

This is of no importance

to the Ron Paul movement.

IT'S DOABLE

McCain voted for the Patriot

McCain voted for the Patriot Act, voted for the Iraq War, and appeared on the Colbert show...........hrmmmmm who's footsteps is baarf following again???

Do you think Colbert was threatened or sold out voluntarily?

I wll be certain to not watch tonight, like I have been ever since the writer's strike ended. He has been a shill for Obama ever since, and it is just not amusing.
Bob Barr can expect LOTS of publicity, since he is the annointed one to divide our movement.
It is sad so many of Ron Paul's supporters are STILL so naive they do not realize when they are being tossed biscuits.

Its funny, but you guys do what you want

If Bob Barr was sent to divide us, Ron Paul certainly does think so. Since he called Bob Barr a great friend, good man and an ally of his.

Here are the facts, Ron Paul is NOT going to run as an Independent and although he might have enough delegates to broker the convention, he will not have enough to win the GOP nomination. The best thing we could do is take over the party the next 4 years, but this year the ONLY person who has a chance and its growing bigger and better every day is Bob Barr.

Yes, I like Baldwin too, but the CP will be lucky to be on 30 state ballots and you just can't win that way.

So go ahead and stay in denial but Ron Paul as a candidate for President will have his last great stand in front of the Convention Doors in St. Paul later this year, his message will live on. If he did this 2000, we might have
Ron Paul as President already, and unlike Reagan he will not get another chance.

Agree

We use to love his show. Not any more. Quit watching a long time ago.

bedr has been with us for nearly a year

it could happen to any of us. If i start to drift take me behind the barn and put me down.

bedr is only for barr

bedr is only for barr because he says the CP party is biased against catholics... his choice is not that which will be the best for the country but his own personnal demon that as a catholic he would be persecuted by Chuck Baldwin lol!

as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD

Ha ha Sierra

You need to read my posts, I have always said I like Baldwin (and I was the first person to post about Baldwin on the site), but would never join the CP because many in leadership roles in that party are anti-Catholic. The party itself has no anti-Catholic slant. But really, the reason I would not back Baldwin is that he does NOT have a chance. The CP will be lucky to make the ballot on 30 states. Baldwin has no experience, he is a virtual unknown, and I just know it will be a waste of time. I have known of Baldwin for awhile, since he endorsed Pat Buchanan for President way back in 2000. I have campaigned in 3rd Party politics for years, and I know. However, I do believe that Barr can do better than Perot, and his numbers are already showing this, he is getting traction and I would rather push a candidate that has a chance (slim as it may be) to actually win the Whitehouse who is NOT a Republican or Democrat. I am sorry Baldwin will do about the same as all the past CP candidates do, about 1% of the vote.

Bob Barr is not a pure Ron Paul, but that will actually help him when it comes time to reach out to Republicans, Democrats and Independents.

For example, when Ron Paul accepted money from the white seperatist, he got hell because he did not return it. I understand why he didn't, but the media totally made Ron Paul look bad. The other day Bob Barr got money from the same character and immediately sent it back saying no thanks. It was a non issue with the media.

Thats the kind of stuff that wins campaigns

What makes you think anything happened

to him. No one could change their beliefs that radically. Being here with us for a year means nothing.

If You're right - we're doomed

I happen to believe that it is easy to radically change one's beliefs in the direction of freedom - just like turning on a lightbulb - because freedom is the Answer. And once you do, you never go back.

What's the question?

IMissLiberty

In this context

I was referring to a supposedly avid Ron Paul supporter to change to what Barrs non-message is. That is not in the direction of freedom. There will be those who do want to come out of slavery to true freedom so I don't believe we are doomed at all. What circumstances that it will take to want them to go in that direction and how radical it will be for them remains to be seen. Being on a web site or part of a group for any length of time is not any type of validation of having a true loyalty to a particular cause at all; that was my point to the poster of how could this persons mindset of what freedom is deteriorate so much.

they shoot horses, dont' they?

Then why can't we shoot the horse's asses we encounter all the time?
We can make a pact, buddy. If you see the koolaid in my hand, red dot - goodnight me!
