Ron Paul has idea to save Social Security
last updated: June 04, 2008 04:09:42 AM
Our trusted federal representatives say they must cut Social Security benefits, advance the eligibility age and increase deductions in order to save it for the future. They do not tell us that to date they have taken $2.183 trillion from our Social Security savings and will take another $186 billion this year. Rep. Ron Paul has introduced the Social Security Preservation Act, which would prevent Congress from taking any money from the trust fund. This bill would provide enough surplus to pay benefits for years to come. If you support this bill, write to your representatives and let them know.
