Key McCain staffer says they don’t want votes from Paul supporters.
Here’s the way Jim Lesczynski tells the tale:
"As the Ron Paul Revolutionaries look forward to tonight’s epic debate on whether they should throw their support to McCain or Barr, the McCain camp has made it clear that Paul’s supporters aren’t welcome. Michael Goldfarb, neocon blogger at The Weekly Standard and deputy communications director for the McCain campaign, writes:
… but let me just say to Ron Paul supporters everywhere, and on behalf of the New Right (by which I assume Paul means the Jew Right), get lost. There should be plenty of room for the Paulnuts in Obama’s big tent.
Whole thing here. On the other hand, I’m certain the Bob Barr campaign would be happy to welcome the Revolutionaries home."
I’m sure Russ Verney wouldn’t have wasted a moment to tell me not to “let the door hit you on the backside on your way out” had I invoked religion or ethnicity in such a manner—or told a very important block of voters to go take a hike.
BOB BARR 2008!

John McCain Debacle
Your lackey Republican State Chair Steve Robertson even shuts down your supporters at state conventions. Yes, even John McCain rank and file supporters were allowed to debate at a state convention. State conventions used to be open to the people who wanted to be involved in the electoral or political process, but it is all about one man Steve Robertson. The Republican Party of Kentucky is severely divided now.
Don't flatter
yourself Jim that ain't gonna happen:)
Go Ron Paul!!!
Has anyone seen the film "The Number 23" with Jim Carrey?
Names with 23 letter in them;
George Herbert Walker Bush
William Jefferson Clinton
9+11+2+0+0+1=23
2/3=.666
Robert Laurence "Bob" Barr, Jr
23 letters, scary isn't it!
Probably a good man, but after the last couple weeks of Barr this and Barr that, I am sick of hearing his name on this site.
Numerology controls only them who are bound and slaves to it. As for me I am a free man and bow to only one King and Judge.

Good
Good, 'cuz that works into my plans...or should I say our plans, precisely.
McCain will never get my vote. If he is the Republican candidate there is nothing there worth saving for "unity."
IT'S DOABLE
Well, I guess ...
"MY Friends" .... and his followers can now feel free to continue on their brainless quest to reeducate American voters on the plaform promises of "The jobs aren't comming back, the illegals aren't going home, get ready for bigger government, and my foriegn policy dreams of total world domination will make Bush look like Ghandi."
Personally, I can't wait for the delicious taste of those 14 twisted. lost, souls to showing up to vote for this clown in November. Yum.
Sour Grapes
Someone needs to save this, and send it to both McCain and Lysczynski the night Dr. Paul wins the nomination.
Oh, no! You mean I can't
Oh, no! You mean I can't vote for my favorite guy McCain? What shall I do? What shall I do? Sorry Ron Paul, but I never ever thought I was going to do this, ever, but, I'm going to have to write your name in now.
LOL
sarcasm is a wonderful thing when it isn't used on me. :)
Vote absentee and write-in Ron Paul.

Thats typical arrogant
Thats typical arrogant zionism at work. They care not who votes for who, the zionist control the vote counting.
Willing to tell 15% of the faithful to go to Hell?
Don't they understand that they MUST come crawling to us or we will make sure that Minnesota and South Dakota and Colorado go to Obama?
This Goldfarb comment was so outrageous that I just signed on to DailyPaul for the first time in 2 months.
That is correct. I have not posted here in 2 months because I thought it was all over.
But Goldfarb's comment can, if publicized, reenergize the RP movement.
Remember, I have always been pro-war (Iraq), but Ron Paul is to me (and half the military) so right on all the other issues that he should be President or in control of the RNC.
It doesn't matter if we vote
the neo con man (Dem or GOP) gets in if the neocons want him in.
Yes, I am still going to vote (absentee) for RP so I can say I tried. My conscience will be clear.
But did you ever wonder why every 4-8 years they switch the party affiliation for the next President? Most people are die hard to their political party. For example Reagan got in on a landslide, so you would think all of those voters (majority) would vote Republican for the rest of their lives. So chances are it would be Republican President after Republican President for the next 50 years. The elections would never be "close" (Diebold) until that generation of Republicans died off. And even then it would be questinable as most children follow their parents political party.
The 2 parties of voters are supposedly "fighting" each other. Therefore we need a congress full of Law degrees (that is your first clue something isn't right) which is going to help us "commoners" settle our differences. Give me a break, it's a game of self- interest" not of public servitude.
Why not skip elections and just publish all of the contender's past voting records on key issues? Send it to the voters with our annual tax statements....that would be a great time. Hee, Hee.

They don't want Mc Anus to
They don't want Mc Anus to win never did
That’s okeedokee by me.
I doubt anybody here would be all that thrilled about voting for McConquer anyway.
What gets me is that people are trying so hard to ruin their own lives and to subject their posterity to even worse living conditions…all in the name of remaining comfortably conventenal.
The government steals tens of thousands of dollars from a poor widow, and then gives two or three hundred bucks back to her in the form of disease control (what the Nazis call “health care”—IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HEALTH!!!) Our dear Widow’s meds will keep her body from healing itself. Thanks to the drug/medical/military bloc, she'll likely remain either sick or thinking she’s sick (due to medical insurance “opportunity”) for the rest of her life. This is but one of many many examples I’ve seen of government abuse of people of all ages.
All for the sake of the convenience and quasi-acceptance and convenience of conventionalism.
Most congressmen view people merely as workers—funders of government activity. Unfortunately, we really don’t understand the complexities of government operation.
I’m rambling—not really staying with the current thread. I’ve so teed off for almost all my life about how the government’s been degrading society.
But that McCain zombie doesn’t break my heart at all.
PS. My dad’s in the midst of writing a book. When it’s ready for publication, I’ll let you know.

Ahem... :: points ::
Did anybody notice THIS?
Well FINE THEN!!!
McCain never had my vote and never will! Oops, there goes at least a third of the party maybe more! He's a Bush clone and is the GOP's selected guinea pig filling in as a supposed "candidate" just so they'll have someone running! If that's the attitude, they deserve to lose and lose big!!!!
last I checked, it takes votes to win.
last I checked, it takes votes to win.
But if McCain doesn't want them, I'm sure there's someone who will... maybe Bob Barr? McCain and his cronies won't be laughing when Barr costs them the election, but I will.
I really don't think McCain is in a position to pick and choose votes.
The fact that Barr supporters
are welcome should make every Ron Paul supporter very wary of supporting Barr... The neo cons know Barr is one of them...
I don't support Barr... I
I don't support Barr... I was just saying how I'm sure he'd appreciate votes if McCain doesn't want them.... I'm just trying to point out how McCain is further digging his grave.
Bingo. Barr is a Newt
Bingo.
Barr is a Newt Gingrich era GOP bureaucrat, ex-CIA agent, supporter of the war on drugs, and signatory to the Patriot Act, while his running mate, Wayne Allyn Root, is a neoconservative supporter of the Bush War on Terror.

Some of Your Info is Outdated
Believe me, nobody joins the LP because they think it's a great career move. After we targeted him for removal, he joined the LP; perhaps Ron Paul's ideas rubbed off on him over the years.
Barr was nominated by Rob Kampia of the Marijuanna Policy Project at the LP convention. Barr has been lobbying to legalize marijuanna, hardly a sign of insincere conversion and akin to political suicide.
I was convinced of his "conversion," but time will tell. I can't say I know for sure.
If you don't believe that people can become enlightened about freedom, then you must admit we're doomed to slavery. Many drug-warriors in law enforcement took a decade or two to learn that prohibition doesn't work, but they did learn that freedom is the answer. I'm willing to consider that Barr may have learned this, too.

Do You Know Who Wrote This Article For The Standard???
Michael Goldfarb -- who has just been named McCain's Deputy Communications Director!!!!!
!!!! TRUE! I am not making this up!!
!!!!!!!!! Yes!! I know, it's amazing!!!
I mean -- for crying out loud !!!!!!!!!!!
Read about it here! While you're at that link, take a look at some of the other juicy thoughts Mr. Goldfarb has on presidential powers ("near dictatorial"...not said as an insult, btw); his thoughts on waterboarding (quote: "Boo, hoo."); and his opinion that companies are unpatriotic if they don't hand over to the government whatever the government demands from them.
Oh, yeah; this one's a lulu. Yecccch, I suddenly feel like I need to take a shower or something.
Sour grapes?
They know they won't get our support....
I intend to do right, and write in Ron Paul, no matter what.
a very very very stupid
a very very very stupid man... 3 to 5 million votes and he don't need them?? what a fool!
as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD
Of course
They dont need them. The powers that be will have who ever they want to run the show. It's not about us folks and he knows that.
It's obvious they do not
It's obvious they do not want McOffal to win... it's the neo liberals turn to ruin the country

"If Diebold be for us, who can be against us."
"They" know they cannot win
"They" know they cannot win this Presidency without us. And "they" also know that they cannot win in the long-term with us. That's because "they" realize we are regaining control of our Republican Party from the neocons.
It won't happen all at once. It's not going to happen all during the 2008 elections. But it will happen over time and "they" are running scared.
Their only defense is to try to get us to leave our party. The party that was founded on our principles.
No Problem
he wasn't ever going to get my vote
nor is the other side of the same coin (obama)
going to get it.
as a matter of fact I will try to get everyone I know and meet to
vote for someone else!
Good, 'cause they're not
Good, 'cause they're not getting my vote. They wouldn't get it if they begged and pleaded and gave me a million dollars.
They might be laughing right now still (though I honestly have no idea why... last I checked it takes votes to win)... plus the fact they're riding straight into defeat.... which means I will get the last laugh, and I'm going to laugh harder than I've ever laughed before because McCain and people like this deserve what's coming to them.
lets be reasonable here avoice
A million dollars IS alot of money- its worth like $175,000- and youd get to hear them beg. ^^
Just for that..
I'm going to vote for McCain, just to spite him!

Dr. Paul says Barr is an ally (http://www.newsweek.com/i...)

I agree...
I mean no disrespect for all of you who supported Dr. Paul and now feel that you must side with Barr or others. I'm glad you were here. However, I agree with Paulette... this is the Daily Paul. I sometimes have to check to be sure I am on the right site, as there is so much talk about Barr. It is not that you are not welcome, but please, be respectful and keep your Barr talk on the proper site.

Proud Ron Paul Supporter
please
I've been a member of this site for about 9 months now and a supporter of Dr. Paul's for over a year (to be frank, he's the first and only candidate I've donated money to), so please don't question the heart of my support. If I had the option of voting for Ron Paul in the General Election, I would. I'm done with the Republicans though, and wish everyone working on Operation St. Paul the best of luck. My personal opinion is that though it will raise some awareness to our cause, it will ultimately cause more harm than good. The Libertarians have been very welcoming of Paul supporters, and for this next phase of the rEVOLution (until November 2008), I'm with them. It's not a permanent decision, but it's certainly the only viable one for the immediate future.

Right. No Paul votes. They would rather lose.
If you believe that, I've got some 'change' to sell you.
