They're relevant questions, but why the hell do they need to be continually broadcast and the same theme repeated over and over again - and of all places on the FRONT page, where I have to see that crap ever time I log in..
Give me a break seriously... How about you think about the question before you pose it, then address whether it ACTUALLY needs to be asked or not.

Any info on obama or barr etc is helpful to those of us that are still trying to convert voters. We need info when talking to people that are supporting the others. I try to get at least 2 people a day to just think for themselves. If I have ammo to help me, I do a lot better. (p.s. I think one of the main reasons RP has moved so many different people is because he really does respect people even when he disagrees and treats them with respect. That is a MAJOR component of this movement imo and if people start carrying on like Free Republic...

More than likely, I've been here longer than them. Fact. But that shouldn't be a consideration at all anyway. It doesn't change the situation at all. Secondly, WHO? Who disagrees? Since Kevin Rudd has been in - the Aussies have acknowledged the "stolen generation" with a public apology and a "Sorry Day", theyve pulled their 500 troops and are now in talks with holding Howard accountable for some of his administrations misdeeds- not least among which is referring to his involvement in Iraq under knowingly misguided pretenses as "war crimes". Id love to see that be a precedent for other countries who knowingly acted on Bush misinfo to share in the spoils.

The 'C' makes it seem feminine.. including the ending of 'a' as in spanish I'm pretty sure, it connotates femininity..
Anyway in Australia, as with most things - its the opposite.. i.e we call red heads, bluey... tall guys - shorty.. just to do with our humour.. so its masculine.
Anyway its my real life nickname, an abbreviated bit of my last name.
Some nickname rules;
* Any word with three syllables or more is far too dangerous to have laying around where you might have to say it whilst significantly lubricated, and must therefore be shortened.
* Maximum irony, or failing that sarcasm, must be employed at all times.
* The endings "o" "y" and "a" are preferred above all others, but are not exclusive.
Hence the: Darren, Warren, Lauren etc. become Dazza, Wazza, Lozza etc. The "a" ending sound is always drawn out for dramatic effect. Conzzaaaaa! This may seem like a contradiction of the "shorter" rule - until you think about the ease of drunken pronunciation of the modified versions.
