Nebraska delegates, Lincoln County Convention

Tonight was the GOP convention for Lincoln County, Nebraska. I am not a delegate, but I attended because of people in my meetup group who are delegates. Long story short, they were taking 6 delegates from our county. All 6 ended up being Ron Paul supporters! Every Ron Paul delegate that attended, was selected. First vote came out with 1 person getting 7 votes, and one getting 5. The rest all got 6 votes each. So they kept the 7 vote person, got rid of the 5. Now they had to have a tie breaker. It kept coming out a tie. Eventually they got it down to 4 and needed to pick 2. They put 4 names in a hat and blindly drew the names. Last two picked, both the remaining Ron Paul delegates!
Let me tell you though, even though there weren't many people there, those from the other side were rude snotty people. One simply just didn't care about trying to change anything and was voting against things just for the sake of voting no. She was a snotty lady. I don't think they were very happy that none of them were able to become the selected delegates.
Things went about as good as you could have hoped for.

Gage county 3 of 5 plus 3 alts...
For Paul. We were told that our chairman could only vote in a tie breaker so we left him in and his wife is still the vice chair. Out of the 8 people that were delegates, we have 6 and one couldn't make it. We can only send 5 to state, so we made him and missing guy and two wives alternates while 3 of us are going as delegates.
Does anyone know how Nebraska is voting at state? What I mean is does each county vote all their delegates toward the same person is is it just a free-for-all where all delegates vote seperately and individually? If independantly, we plan to call an impromptu meeting and make our RP people the other two state delegates.
Also, we can't seem to find out how he's doing statewide in each county. Where do we go to find out?
Also, great job North Platte! I got voted in a secretary of our county's GOP. :)

I'm still waiting to hear how Washington County did tonight.
I have heard via the grapevine from a party insider they will be creating a slate of 33 delegates to be voted on at the state convention. You can be sure there will be no Ron Paul supporters on it. So we will have to come up with our own slate and be organized going into the state convention.
So exactly how do we find out who is for RP
so we can create this kind of slate? We only had 7 delegates there and didn't know who one guy was for so we had to ask him. We never met him but he was silently for RP! I don't want to just vote for "people". I want to know that I'm voting for a RP supporter.
We will be getting something organized for the state convention
and probably doing some conference calls.
There might already be someone in your county that is connected to a couple people that are playing a key role in organizing things but just in case

We got 4 alternates in Dodge County to state.
There where 12 delegates nominated and we where alloted 8 delegates and all 4 of the Ron Paul supporters ended up being alternates...They made everyone state who they supported for president before we voted and then they counted the votes in secret and it took for ever and day for them to come back with the vote.
When Hal Daub spoke for McCain less than half of the people in the room applauded when he said we needed to elect McCain as our next president.
So it seemed pretty strange that many people would vote for only McCain delegates to move onto the state level. :o(

At my county convention
At my county convention there was ONE person for RP and it was me and I got elected anyway, cause no one else really wanted to bother. So will be at the state convention on June 12..hope I see some other signs of life there...
