Obama Winning The Nom - A Canadians Perspective

As someone who exists sort of in between American and Canadian culture, I would like to offer my feelings as to how Obama came to win the democratic nomination.
First I would just like to point out that it was always my distinct feeling that Hillary Clinton was the "chosen one" to be the next president by "the powers that be"
Now, during the early primaries, when "the powers that be" did not know how well Ron Paul was going to do necessarily, I had the distinct feeling that media attention was shifted dramatically towards Obama in order to take away our "young revolutionary" vote.
I think that this is how they accidentally sacrificed their "chosen one" and I for one am very happy to see the wicked witch die, ding dong.
It's also very nice to see "the powers that be" lose a bit of their master control because of us.
Obviously Obamas politics are total shit, but at least he seems somewhat human which is much more then can be said for that lizard man John Mcain whose politics don't even seem any better necessarily.
I think that Obama is going to destroy Mcain in the general election, and I think that the republican party deserves that after how they treated us.
I think that will make them realize how much the republican leadership sucks, and that will help us tremendously as we retake the party over time.

Their only chance..only conceivable chance to beat Obama is to nominate RP at the convention. It is ludicrous otherwise for the Party..of course..there is always the racist thing..who knows what Americans will do..?

I'd also like to say that they can, have and will rig the votes on the voting machines, make no mistake about that. But it cannot be a landslide one way or the other, so the person has to be believeably "popular."
Just got through watching "Hacking Democracy" on HBO -- and if we don't organize a Revolution to get our elections back, our votes will not be counted in the next election either. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED VIEWING! Buy DVDs and & give them away!
In 2012 (if America/the world still exists), people will be so outraged that they will be ready for Ron Paul's message of REAL change.

My gut feeling is that something has gone wrong with the plan.
McInsane has 200 people at a major speech.
Hillary waves and points at empty chairs.
Obama has thousands at his rallies.
RP has a movement that is continuing to grow without a headquarters, just grassroots like us and a number one book!

I see that despite the law Bush got that meant our soldiers who went up there to escape eternal war had to be returned, your parliament made a NEW law saying they would protect them. Seems you guys care more for our boys than this neocon excuse for a government we have.

I can't remember how many times I read reports (and saw CNN screen shots) of Ron Paul's vote count going "backwards" in nearly every primary? He'd be beating McCain then mysteriously his votes would evaporate by the 100s.
And dear Canadian friend, I understand what you mean about Obama may seem more "human" than McCain but don't forget these puppets' strings are pulled by the same marionette. Didn't Bush used to seem "human" drinking beer and getting black eyes from choking on pretzels? Haw haw

I think we were great when our goodness separated us from the evil of others.
Our mistake was that when we became supreme winners, we abandoned being good for preserving our power. Therefore having no moral backbone at all.
It is fine and dandy to think with all our devote Christians we are moral.
But watching their TV shows is just "Jesus loves you, send me money!", and the poor, ignorant and fearful oblige. A millionaire TelePastor raises more money than RP does trying to save this nation!
No, we need to embrace what our founders wanted.

The Republicans are going to pay a terrible price as they went along with the main stream media to marginalize a good man, Dr. Ron Paul. We're still here though - we are this weekend testing the waters in Oregon with the OR Convention. My husband is already there so it will be interesting to see what happens. None of us know what will happen between now and the convention in Sept. as well as the election day and with all the new crises we see everyday with the economies of the whole world under increasing pressure. Who knows! You have a good pulse on it, eh!

I can't get over how motivated we Patriots are.
And with every day and every way we grow stronger.
We just need to get our message out.
We love Freedom and not Dems or GOP's.
We want to put the Big Brother Government back in the box and toss it over the side!
