What we really, really need
is for Ron Paul to boldly proclaim the establishment of a new, viable third party, called the Ron Paul Party of Principles. We all know that 3rd parties have their difficulties, but they've usually been headed by someone without a lot of parlimentarian knowledge. Ron Paul has the experience, the intellect, the integrity, and for the first time.......some name recognition. If he'd grab the likes of Jesse Ventura to be a VP, I think the move would send shutters all throughout neocon land, and maybe, just maybe, waken some more of the population from their political apathy. The media would have to recognize such a bold move, and then Paul would get just what he needs, a respectable chance in the spotlight. Ventura can be the staunch bully that Ron Paul needs in his corner to address the many, many shortcomings of the two presumtive nominees. It's obvious, the GOP is Enemy #1 for Ron Paul. They are the ones that engineered the media blackout of Ron Paul, .........to that I say, step on them and move forward.

What is wrong with
Independent?
I am really rather sick of these so called "parties." One thing they are not is a party. Partisans might be a better word for them. Ron Paul is an individualist and that is what the whole movement is based on, so Independent with no party word attached makes sense to me.
But yes, as soon as he is ready, I'd like to see Jesse shave and cut his hair (at least get rid of the handlebars or jumprope, whatever you want to call that--How did he grow that sooo fast? I have nothing against individualistic facial hair, if it enhances a person's looks. His does not.) so that he begins to look presidential and for the two of them to run hard and fast and loud to November.
Amen to that!
But I can't get out of my mind the idea that side by side, Ron and Jesse would look a bit like Laurel and Hardy (really big guy, really thin guy).
