The end of America.
The end of America.
My personal philosophy of what has happened to a country I once loved and stood for. Thought I would share it with you.
I remember when America stood for something great it had promise once, it meant something. Now what I see is the complete decline of western civilization brought about by greed. Bank foreclosures, land grabs, slavery, Oppression, A national starvation of mind, body, spirit, and intellect, A nation that once had dignity that now steals, murders, covets its neighbours, Lies to it's populations to do its bidding in the form of wars that are blatant in their conceptions of globalization and world domination, A nation divided by religion, politics, race, and wealth.
When did we as a people lose control of this place, of this thing we used to care about. When did we become so indiscriminate as to not see the difference between killing and saving people.
Over a million people have died at the hands of united states tyranny now, These were human beings once, flesh and blood loving people who had families, these people did nothing to deserve the genocide sent to them by our government. They did nothing to us. Yet they now lay in their own unjustified purgatory.
We as a nation have been destroyed by the many politicians that have ravaged our constitution, stolen our liberties and made us to bow down to their alters of greed.
We used to be a proud people, a decent, honest, and compassionate people, and now we have become a nation of sheep being led to the slaughter by corporations and government that feed off of our complacency and denial of the fact that we have lost all control of our own destinies. have a wonderful day.
Imagine a world of people who were awake enough to know the difference.

we have had a great many spiritual revolutions in this country, going back to the founding fathers.
When I say spiritual, I don't mean religious exactly, but rather an uplifting of the human notion of what man is meant to be. I think the population demographics recently worked very much in our disadvantage. While the 60's brought great strides in many ways, alot of the boomers rode the coat tails of that shift, and sought freedom without its accompanying responsibility. The cynicism that came from this experience lead to a dismissal of the innovations of culture afterwards. There was the mind state that we had progressed to the highest possible place and it was naive to want anything more. Of course, the rampant materialism that came out of this wake of "freedom, without responsibility" undermined the traditional concepts of american liberty. "Responsibility" was not self-responsibility, mearly obedience- obedience to one's company, debtors government officials. Of course, such "obedience" born only out of selfish practicality, is nothing like Loyalty, so when the chance comes to grab, the "responsible" thing to do was to take it.

where did Galt go?
Because of your name I wonder if you have thought if there is a place out there that freedom loving Americans can go and be free. I know of none. Soon I think the world will face tyranny like it has never seen. A great evil in government at a global perportion. America has already ended the great expiriment of freedom it started 200 plus years ago. The bill of rights is no longer applicable. It will be interesting to see how many will understand why the peril that is looming is here.
Nothing New
We have always been divided by religion, race, politics and wealth. What American history have you been reading.
The latest and worst thing developing in this day and age is the size of the Federal government. In past they could be corrupt and make stupid laws but it did not have much of an affect on us. The things coming out of Washington are hurting business and citizens like never before.
You also have to seperate white American history with black American history. I think Rev Wright has a reason to be mad and talk down this country.
People who speak so highly of our "history" need to realize that great history does not apply to black Americans. To them America has not been the greatest nation on earth. Yes, it is now, but only after the civil rights act in the 60's. Before then they should have had a revolution against our government and burnt Washington to the ground. They would have had every reason to do it.
remember
"united we stand divided we fall" all distractions to the contrary should be dismissed.think about the ploy of this election cycle ? A woman a Black man , a religious guy , a corporate son , A revolutionary, and a veitnam vet ? how much more divided could they make it ? I'm surprized they didn't add a pygmy midget this year.
A woman a Black man , a religious guy , a corporate son
A revolutionary, and a veitnam vet. Sound like game peices for the next Monopoly Recession edition- Or reality tv show-" Survivor-Washington"
god that's a great idea-a
god that's a great idea-a political reality show-ha ha
they are shipped off to a deserted island and made to create their own govt with public imposed rules......that would be good tv
I don't consider
religion, race, politics and wealth to necessarily be "dividers." They are what make us individual and you DON'T want to eliminate those. That is exactly what the globalists want to do. Each one will be eliminated in our future. The black people did have a problem in our early years. Slavery was not necessarily the problem. It was the abuse of slavery. Many black people chose to stay with their previous owners when they had a choice because the previous owners were good to them.
Where we went wrong after slavery was abolished and black people were free to choose what they would do with their lives, even if that meant to continue to work right where they were, is in the education system.
Our government, states and federal, should never ever have distributed the tax dollar according to property value. It still should be distributed equally by child. I have never seen anyone say this but me, and it is so fundamental. When I first heard how it was done, I was floored and still am. Every child should have access to the best books, computers, teachers, etc. Poor schools should not be allowed to exist. The funds should be distributed evenly across the state.
yes but those things should be left behind
or at least not involved in the fact that we are all just Human beings trying to survive. Race and religion are played up way too much in society and are ingrained in our culture causing too much death. Religion and false patriotism are the two leading factors for war and the deaths of millions possibly billions of people throughout history.
Money and power
are the reasons for wars. People will always be religious in one way or another. It is best not to try to force it to stop but rather to be free in your point of view. God allows the freedom. Race-you cannot get rid of race, but one race is not better than another. Each individual needs to be shown the same respect. But you can't "leave it behind." It is human. Do you want us to all be cloned? Individualism is great. Everyone is different. We need to allow that, not squelch it.
Michelle Obama..
made a statement that she wasn't proud of America until now, was it because her husband is running for President? I had to throw that in, it did bother me that she said that. I thought hard about the statement she made, and the only thing I can think of is that she is proud of our county because her husband decided to run for President. I grew up surrounded by all types of people, White, Black, Brown, Red, and Yellow so I am not prejudice at all, in fact I am a minority. When I served in the military, I was very honored to serve my country, that was during Reagan's Administration. I have always been Patriotic, and I still am, but it hurts me to see how far removed our government is from our Constitution, and it's principles. The Oath I took to protect this country from all foreign, and domestic enemies still stands for me, and I will do whatever it takes as an American citizen to protect our rights, and our Constitution. We now have a Socialist government that is killing us financially, and morally.
I think she meant
she is finally proud of America because "they are supporting her husband running for president." Not because he is running or is able to run.
Originally he kept saying this isn't about being black. Then she turned that right around. Then the first thing he said after securing the nomination was a statement about being black. I don't take away the fact that it is neat to be black and in his position. But it is not the first and most important thing. I think Powell could have run without it ever being mentioned at all. I don't even think about who is black and who is white until some black person brings it up. Then if they keep bringing it up, it becomes an issue and they keep bringing it up.
Anyway, he is not black. He is white. OK, then he is exactly 50/50. So what is the big deal with him winning the white house. If he wanted to be the great "joiner" he should never, ever have mentioned that he is black because he is white at the same time and that would have been his best attribute. But he blew it and so did she.
you know what this is a
you know what this is a better explanation than the one you made on another thread-this one I agree with-thanks
that too

there have always been problems, but there has also been a drive towards "a more perfect union."
This ties back in with what I was saying, as the drive for improvement of society now means in the eyes of the masses "more government."
I am glad someone said this
EDIT: Whoops, this is supposed to be a reply to a reply a few posts down by "RonPaulIsTheAnswer". Please forgive me.
I won't even touch the God comments, as that battle is being fought a few posts down.
However, I am glad that someone of the older generation is owning up. I am 25 and the extent of Government Education I had in High School and from my parents was "Move along, nothing to see here. We are taking care of you, and have ironed out all the kinks in Democracy! (oh wait, we are a republic, I didn't really understand the difference until well into my military career)". Point being that no one is educating American children about how our political system WORKS or the REASONS why the founders made decisions that they did. Just memorize who signed the Constitution, who won the civil war (We did, by the way) and don't ask WHY Nixon was brought up for impeachment, just that he was and it was a black-eye to America.
I spoke on the phone several months ago with my mother. I was all a twitter about Ron Paul, the Revolution and my burgeoning interest in politics. I started explaining to her RP's philosophies. I told her all about how America was founded. I asked her who she was choosing, "Obama". GAG! I asked why. She said "He speaks eloquently". "Well, DUH, ma! So do a lot of used car salesmen". She then says "well, my time in the political process is coming to a close, and I was never into it much, anyway." WTF, mate! She's 50 years young, a registered voter and an Air Force vet. She's not retarded. How could she think like this?!?
Anyhow, rant about parentals aside, every, every 45+ person I have spoken to about politics is the same way. Doesn't really care now, never much did none in the past.
So to the general 45+ plus crowd out there with apathy I would like to say: THANK YOU (partially) for this whole heap of mess we have to clean up or be swept aside by. And to the Original Poster, thanks for atleast acknowledging your generation shoulders some responsibility for this, and again for actually working to rectify it. As for me, I'll fight the good fight, cause I know my son and daughter will have to live with it.
Signed,
An Atheist who gives a darn! (And with good morals too :) )
I think they switched your
I think they switched your mother and my babies at birth!
Wish my son would get involved and informed.
(p.s. I am over 50...lol)
Not sure
the original poster shouldered responsibility, but I did below. He simply reminisced about how it used to be. Well, right along with that is the generation (mine) that sat back and let it happen. I always had a slight guilty feeling about it, but I thought 'there are people who love the public eye and I don't. It is so big, it can't spin out of control. There will be someone out of all those people to keep it on course.'
So I formally apologize to you for my lethargy. It is definitely my fault.
It still amazes me that so many people are going in the same wrong direction. The movement towards globalism is huge.
Also, I did say that I have many atheist friends that I respect every bit as much and more than some of my Christian friends. Christianity has a huge hand in this huge mess up. So do the Zionists and the Catholics and the Muslims. And especially the New Agers, big time. The New Age movement is housed in the UN. It is the core of the One World Religion. It will not be tolerant of freedom of religion.
It was
It was your post I was replying to.
Thanks for the apology, but thanks x10 for the RP support and supporting the Revolution.
My rant aside, it is unfortunate that it seems the majority of my generation is just as apathetic to what's going on.
Yes
because we have helped you be that way. My generation made some major mistakes.
Zionism
2/3 of our top politicians are Israeli dual-citizen zionists. The very top. And you wonder why we are Israel's bodyguard? We are Israel!
Zionism is the prime motivator for the New World Order and everything that encompasses. World Banks, CFR, AIPAC, etc. etc. etc....
Careful
you will be called an anti-semite from all the trolls. That's ok, I got your back.
I got to call bull shit on that one.
Site your source. 2/3s? I don't believe it. You need to back that up.
You said and I quote,
"2/3 of our top politicians are Israeli dual-citizen zionists."
You need to back that up with proof.
Not sure about 2/3
but here's a list of some very powerful people with dual US/Israel citizenship:
http://www.viewzone.com/d...
Are you kidding me?
There is not a single currently elected politician on this list.
Alot of them are Ambassadors.
You got to do better than that.
He said, 2/3s, either site your source or admit that it is a lie.
I think this is major
Greatly because of the misunderstanding of who the Zionists are and what the Bible means. Christians are confused on this issue.
Yes, I agree . . .
These sub humans are the most ludacras lackeys ever in the history of the planet . . . mainly, because with the satellite and vedio cams . . . with real time exposure . . . and obvious extinction and poisonings on massive scale . . . yet their brains are broken. There is simply no excuse for this behavior.
This will make some angry
But when we started allowing atheists to run the country and we listened to a small group and allowed them to force us against our better judgement to start getting God out of everything. That is what happened to us. People who don't have a strong moral compass (I know many atheists who are just as moral as I or more so--not the point) will allow greed to creep in. It is very, very much like there is a war between God and Money per se. If God is not there to hamper the greed, then the greedy take over.
What also upsets me is that this has all happened on 'my watch.' I and my kind are responsible for it. we were too comfortable to take part in politics and there were some who saw the bigger picture of how they could personally benefit from my lethargy. I feel very responsible as part of the generation that lost America.
I'm an atheist
I'm a realist , I don't care what people believe in it's not my right to decide that. But I am disgusted with what has happen to this country.
Right
I don't care how people believe either. I think it is perfectly fine that you are an atheist. But leave this country in its original condition if you want to be happy in your atheism God doesn't try to make you believe in him. He totally gives you your space to believe as you will. But many people will not stay in control of their moral fiber (and I am not speaking of atheists) if over all God is not the commanding force. When we got rid of God in certain areas, that is when greed started stepping in. Along with One World Order, One World government, there is also One World Religion-and it is not atheism.
I agree with Mr. Atheist...
I am a Christian, and I believe you have every right to believe and feel what you do. I think bringing religion into the mix just complicates things
regarding government, and should be left up to the individual, that is what Liberty is all about right? And this is coming from a very Conservative Republican. Libertarian minded individuals do not tell others how to run their personal business or beliefs.
sorry you are wrong!
please do not bring religon into this as it IS part of the problem
No you are wrong
I didn't say anything about 'religion.' I said without God, greed will take over more people and ruin a society. With God, greed stays in check. The atheists fought to overthrow a huge majority and we cratered. I am absolutely right. With God, atheists and everyone else get to live in piece, with Him, no one has piece. Atheist or not, you should recognize this.
Just because a person does not
believe in God, does not mean they do not have good moral standards, do you not understand that?
Did you MISS
that I said that over and over Tessie?
How and why
could this turn into a religious debate when if you read my original post you would have read that that is part of the problem ? the division of people.
"A nation divided by religion, politics, race, and wealth."
Oh
sorry. I didn't realize an original poster dictated the input. Sorry about that. But the atheists have actually undermined themselves and everyone else by getting rid of the one thing that allows them to practice atheisism undisturbed. Seems that they would be able to see beyond their own agenda enough to be able to see that this country was free and liberated because we were ONE NATION UNDER GOD. I am not talking about religion. I am talking about what unites us. Greed will split people every time. God allows for freedom. Intelligent people would do well to heed that. With God, everyone thrives. Muslims are free here as well as all other religions. Get rid of God and someone will try to take over. It isn't a religious thing. It is an open minded, join us together kind of thing. I could not believe in God, and still see that that is what made this country the great, tolerant country it was. Everything has gone to hell in a handbasket upon shutting it out.
Are you forgetting
Bush had some type of divine intervention that led us to Iraq ? I have a really hard time becoming a part of that whole thing. If I can't see it, taste it, feel it, touch it, it just isn't there for me. I need tangible evidence of things. Not based on theory, conjecture, or faith. sorry !
No I am not forgetting
and I understand where you are coming from. I was agnostic in college, so I came close enough to understand. Many Christians are fakes, many are misguided, many don't have a clue about what the Bible really says, most of the organized religions are hypocritical.
You have to want faith to receive it. As long as you don't want it, you won't receive it, so that is ok. I just understand it. But I sure don't buy into televangelism, and much, much more. The way Ron Paul handles his religion is the way I think is natural and God sanctioned.
I don't know if Bush is sincere, but I am beginning to think not. But even if he is sincere, he is very misguided.
