For the GOP it will be McCain-Lieberman as together they solidify the party platform around their "Israel First" theme.
The dems counter with the fomidable team of Obama-Edwards which .. "yes" they could, except that Edwards will lose interest in campaigning and return his attentions to his true passion of class action lawsuits.
The Libertarians will offer some entertainment when the sharp contrast between the philosophies of Bob Barr and his VP are brought to a boil when the two challenge eachother to a public duel.
Ralph Nader surprises noone by selecting himself as his running mate ..
And the greens ... does anyone really care? nah ..
For this years true spectacle how about Al Franken in Minnasota? Now that should be refreshing at least.
Former Georgia Senator Sam Nunn might attract enough white male votes to tip some southern states for Obama. Nunn is bright, much more conservative than Obama, knowledgeable about defense, and boring. He left the Senate because he could not abide Bill Clinton.

McCain - Romney Obama-Hillary
Libera me, let the truth break, what my fears make--Leslie Phillips (this works better as a preface in this case)
McCain will likely choose Romney (because he has admitted too many times that he knows nothing about economics, and Romney does.)
Obama will most certainly choose HIllary Rodham-Clinton, mostly to achieve party unity-however, this may back-fire if they start in-fighting.
im just going to move to
