Did anybody hear Pat Shannan on Jack McLamb's show today? Jack McLamb spoke to Ron Paul yesterday...Things aren't looking very good..

I just checked the ronpaul2008.com website...
considering he is supposed to be speaking at the Montana State Convention on June 20, I don't think he will be ending his campaign. I have no idea what all this fuss is about and don't appreciate random things being thrown about to put everyone in a panic. Please folks, can we all simmer down and just wait to see what happens if anything???

a link to the McLamb show and he and a reporter?? named Shannan and then Granny Warrior saying she had been keeping something under her hat. So it is the three of them. I think the link to the show is above. Mostly it is that radio show.

the source cited was a reporter from the american free press. McLamb made it clear that this reporter was just speculating. The speculation was probably based on the report from the Trilateral comission a couple weeks ago also published by the same paper.
That said, some kind of announcement about the campaign would make sense, as the primaries are over, and there is no clear purpose for an official campaign anymore. Perhaps a transition into a Liberty PAC or some other vehicle for continuing the effort. I don't doubt Ron Paul will want to be involved somehow in the long term effort.

that it was old news to us that we thought was new. Tucker did not say anything about his life or family being threatened. He said Foley was asked to ask Dr. Paul to quit running so he would stop educating the young people. Shannan might just be behind. Where they got the idea of a video, I don't know.

If (and that's a big "if") some grim, mortal plan was/is/will be laid out for RP, it's the stupidest plan that could ever be devised by any evil PTB. Doing away with beloved public leaders tends to fire up their followers, not quell them (think MLK). Way to make the Revolution grow exponentially, Bad Guys.
As far as this announcement, I'm in a wait-and-see pattern, as if I could be otherwise, with such thin information. Regardless of any announcement, the R3volution continues, we all know that; it's too big to stop (and huzzah for that!). But OH! my heart would break were RP to announce that he's dropping the campaign prior to the convention. Not enough to stop spreading the message, however. ;)

I don't know. On the surface of it, this doesn't make alot of sense to me. I know the report from the TriLateral Comission. But why would people want to do this now? I mean, the timing doesn't make alot of sense.
I didn't get the sense that Paul seemed different, at least from the rallies and interviews.

He wasn't winning a month ago when they had that Trilateral Commission meeting when they told Foley to go tell him to stop running. It isn't that he is winning, it is that he is educating the young people. That is what they said in that meeting. Tucker got that info from that secret meeting from an informer.

What the HELL is going on? can someone clearly state/summarize instead of me/others having to read garbled, paranoid posts about possibly threats that were leaked by random radio hosts?
Nothing makes sense, so please make it clear!!! It's hard enough not even knowing what you're looking for, let alone scrolling through posts and rumors....

Many of us that work for Dr. Paul constantly have seen the lack of well actually lack of campaigning and have had many theorys and thoughts and no one has been able to quite figure out the reasons. There has been a lot of talk about Kent Snyder and his dedication to the job or lack of.? Many people have begged Dr. paul to please fire him and get someone that wanted to win as much as we wanted him to win but Ron is very loyal and will not tolerate gossip or back stabbing. To fire someone he has to have for sure proof and first hand knowledge and evidently he found something. Kent was fired according to good sources 3 weeks ago. Since then we have been holding our breath in hopes that Ron would come out fighting and say.... Hey Lets take this election. It would not be that hard now and we all know he doesn't have a problem beating out the other candidates. He is actually the only chance this country has of becoming stable again.
Anyway we are waiting just like the rest of you guys to find out what the press release will be about.. We have not gossiped or let our thoughts and information slip out just for this reason. All the guessing and doubts it would stir up.
We have not tried to force the issue and have done exactly what he advised in promoting the Sturgis Revolution for Freedom Festival.. He said to have fun, to learn, to explore the possibilities and we have set that up to do just that. I for one would not want to be a party to any event that would put his health or life in danger and would hope everyone would use the same caution. There are a lot of mean people in this world who would like the opportunity to ruin this revolution. We all have to keep on a one track road, towards our Country's Freedom and to retain it's soverignty. We have the tools all we need is for the zombies to wake up and join us. It will take work, working together and learning new skills and putting them into use.
Lets do it.. make the revolution a live thing, a growing thing and one that will take back our rights.
People who attend the Sturgis event will leave with a whole new attitude and a lot of methods to survive and prosper even in hard times while making this revolution mean something. They will also have a lot of fun and meet lots of new people to network with in this revolution. Waving signs and banners is fun but it does not get the job done, there is work that has to be done both to win our country back and to make sure we are healthy and strong enough to do the job. Time for talking and emailing is past it is now time to get down to business.

I was suspicious of Snyder ever since the NH primary. He was always lurking in the background seemingly doing nothing. You could have mistaken him for the chauffeur or the doorman. He was a horrible choice IMHO, and I place a good deal of blame on him..
Linda,surely you have seen some of the excitement about getting Jesse Ventura and RP together to discuss a third party run. I was planning to contact Alex Jones as he has contact with both camps.
I was hoping you would share your thoughts on this, as I have a great deal of respect for you.

We do not know for certain. Why would RP be speaking to this person in the first place? Lets wait and see before this goes any further. I hope there is no truth to it.

It amazes me that you do not know who Officer Jack Mclamb is!! He is one of the most highly decorated police officers in the country, He's a Vietnam Veteran and famous Radio talk show Host. He exposed what the government was doing in his book, "Vampire Killer 2000", He's friends with Alex Jones and knows Ron Paul very well. Why wouldn't this man call Ron Paul at home?

I'm not familiar with this show, but read through the thread. If RP and his family have been threatened it would make a lot of sense as that is supposedly what happened to Ross Perot as well. I believe Perot stopped campaigning so vigorously after the threat but went on to win 19% of the vote. Another 15% and it's possible that Perot may have won.
This is more rumor and inuendo!
I listened to an hour of crap and heard NOTHING to indicate Dr. Paul has been threatened. Get FACTS before posting sensationalized nonsense!!

Ron Paul is probably the most loved politican of our age and because of that, he is a danger to the establishment and current leadership. His popularity is obviously building when the Party leadership want him to so marginalized that he becomes history. The olde guard does not want a return to true conservatism and monetary responsibility because it threatens their easy street.
Maybe this is now real revolutions are born. I will not back down on my support of Ron Paul. One thing we already know is that Dr. Paul is a very strong, but humble man who loves his country and his family. Look at him go toe to toe with the likes of Greenspan and Bernake...look at him take on the whole Congress, brave and undeterred in his determination. We need to look to his example and let him know we will not fail the revolution.
The thought that anyone would want to harm such a strong and brilliant American Patriot makes me sick to my stomach. If this is a true report, my heart goes out to Dr. Paul for the anguish that he must be feeling for his family.
For those of us in Nevada...be at the Grand Sierra on June 28th. Delegates take your seat and let's get him the national delegates he deserves as established by the voters in our state caucus. Supporters, let the press and everyone you know that it is time to be out there, in the parking lot if necessary to support our chosen presidential candidate.

Nothing presented by these sources hints at any threat. It's all speculation by this Pat Shannan guy.
What IS at issue is an announcement tomorrow. That's what Ron Paul told him. Nothing about threats.
Why would he be the most hated man in America? Because he's officially ending his campaign.
Of course, to me, that would be no reason to hate him. He has done so much good thus far and it should be celebrated. Maybe if he endorsed McCain, though...

he won't endorse McCain. But I think your level head has got it. But it is hard for me to think he won't still go to the march and to his speech outside of the RNC. I think he will tell the movement to continue to do what we need to do to affect the GOP. That is our right and he would encourage it, I think. But he might very well do the other. I don't know how Foley was suppose to talk him into quitting, but the talk might have gotten rough. Who knows. I guess the early part of this week will give us some answers.

I think all events with Ron paul at them every person should be searched if someone does not submitt to a full seach they don't get in. We must protect this man. I listened to the show. Shannan was given time for one line and he ended it with your quote without explaining a single thing about why that would be. This is not very clear. I listened for an hour to the show waiting for Shannan at the end and then no time.
I think I would like to see your title changed.
