I think I am going to try to do a riddle every day.

I enjoy the ones that come up from time to time on dailypaul.

It won't be RP oriented, but freedom is the message.

I will try to mix it up, but I am sure my interests will shine through.

If it is like most of my posts and gets little action, I may get disinterested and stop, but I will do my best.

All riddles will get an updated answer sometime in the evening.

Not an I.T. guy, but if someone wanted to coordinate some sort of prize for the winning answer that would be awesome.

So here is the riddle for today.

Who am I?

Freedom followed with a shepard leading
Evil a friend despite me not speaking

The mercury rising though the war cold
Am I? No I, by definition, am not bold

My name, a rhyming doctor likes
My birthplace, a hiker hikes
My home, a keeper bikes

The answer tonight, I will post.

Unless it really has to do with Reagan and Bedtime for Bonzo(not the same chimp though), but my above answer aligns almost perfectly with the riddle.

I watched the show in bed with my wife and kids.

My four year old daughter, Lainey, thought it was amazing that a monkey went into outer space.

My wife read the riddle this morning and couldn't figure it out. I think Ham was only mentioned twice by name, but it stuck in my brain. I thought that has to be an anacronym for something, and sure enough it is. I looked it up this morning.

Our minds think completely differently. While it brings tension at times. It has made me the man that I am.

In fact, my calling card, "We all have our roles", was born out of much meditation about the conflicts that my wife and I have. We are both beautiful people, just and moral. Our ethics are identicle, but by golly if we don't flank each other into a rodeo.

I have always been an objectivist, since birth, but our marriage made the concept of individualism sink in and made me realize that an earth full of humans could not reach full potential without freedom. Good old selfish freedom.

Although Reagan was not President of the United States when the Berlin Wall fell, he is widely credited with shaping the events that crushed communism. He was the shepard leading freedom.

Mecury Rising was a Bruce Willis movie about an austistic boy who cracked the Reagan Administration era code designed to protect our Nation's secrets and of course Reagan ended the Cold War between the US and USSR.

The name Ronnie Reagan rolls off the tongue and Dr. Seuss would Revel in it. Tampico, Ilinois is the hilly, Northern part and a great place to hike. (President's Birthplace) Simi Valley, CA is known for biking trails. (President's home)
