As a new journalist if 100-150 of the world's best shots are meeting at one place to discuss world issues, I'm going to cover it and try to find out what they talked about and their policy decisions. To not give this meeting a word in the MSM shows me they're in the tank.
You're not going to get in
the party unless you agree not to cover it. There are people that work for newspapers there. They just agree beforehand that it's a party where people can let loose and say what they want without having to worry about the media. That's the whole point of the meetup, a private retreat from all the media attention where people can just say what's on their mind. I suppose someone could break the agreement, but then they wouldn't be invited to any more parties and no one would trust them anymore.

Only have one license now-a-days. The CDL replaced the multiple license practice years ago, 1992 was the cut off.
They keep all of your driving record in a database, even what you scored on your test (s).
I have heard of people telling the License Branch that they lost their license and their given (pay for) a new one. Having one in multiple states is a different issue.

This Jim Tucker fellow ought to simply go out, buy a bunch of walmart underwear and prove unequivocally that his claim is true (or false). Inventory tracking chips in the bags prove nothing. Only chips that would be worn inside the garment would prove his claim. I'd be absolutely shocked if it were true and there were chips hidden inside the underwear.

The meetings are closed to the media. There's no crime in wanting some privacy. All these people do is speak bit, and party a bit. No crime in that. And they're from very diverse political views. They probably argue more amongst each other than they agree.
The fact simply that it's a private party with imprortant people attending is what's letting some people's imaginations run wild.
Then you have nuts like Alex Jones taking advantage of this paranoia to profit from it for his radio show.

To have high level government from various countries meeting in secret. Then who is paying for all of it. Unless you know what is being talked about, you have no reason to claim that the act is being violated. You're just fantasizing. And that idea that the whole party is a violation is even more ridiculous.

a one or two people there do actually talk to foreign governments for that purpose. But they dont need to do it there. They can do it through telephone calls and other meetings. If anything illegal was going on, they wouldn't be doing in front of a large group like that.
