The National DVDs for Delegates Project needs your support!
We took the successfuly and widely regarded DVDs for Alaskan Delegates project, and are going nationwide, to convert RNC delegates to the principles and positions of the Revolution.

Now, onto the project:
We took the time to find the best lawyer we could (a former head of the Federal Elections Commission), and we created two groups for legal fundraising:
1. Constitutional Media Political Action Committee --a multi-candidate advocacy PAC, and
2. Constitutional Media USA--a "527," or "issues advocacy" organization
Even donors who have given the maximum to single candidate advocacy groups, like the Ron Paul 2008 campaign, may give to either of our groups, as they fit under different legal guidelines.
As of last week, we have our FEC filings in order and are allowed to accept donations for both groups.

When faced with impossible odds, generations of Americans have responded with a simple creed that sums up the make it happen spirit of a people: Yes we can!
This National DVDs for Delegates Project campaign is about opening the minds of the people with the actual decision making power. When it comes to reaching the mass public, we can’t yet compete with a mainstream media owned by just 5 major corporations which in turn are owned by the very interest Ron Paul and other constitutionalists threaten.
But when we target our messages to the actual decision makers, the people with the real power in these contests, we find we actually can compete.
Our first action is to reach the National Delegates and Alternates to the Republican National Convention this September. Many of them have been misinformed about our movement. We know Dr. Paul, for example, received far less media coverage than any major candidate in January and February, despite having the highest campaign contributions from individuals and especially from military personnel and veterans in December. While he set a world record in 1-day fundraising, the media began to ignore him.
We know that the media are mainly owned and controlled by the same people and interests that own and control the Federal Reserve Banks and the now vast military-industrial-pharmaceutical-agribusiness complex.
But we also know that while it may seem like we are David taking on Goliath, the reality is that we represent millions of self-aware, studied patriots, and we can win this race and others. We just have to be really smart and not give up.
Our first script is finalized and going into production. We are working together to plan, create, and send two to four more DVDs before the GOP convention.
This project will cost between $50,000 and $200,000 to do it right and right now. That is nothing in the scheme of political spending, but it is everything we will need to reach our delegates with material they’ve never seen. If we receive contributions on the low end, we will still do this, just with less new footage. If we get all we need, we can blow their minds with really good original footage putting it all together.
It all starts with you.
Your contribution is not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.
Individuals may contribute a maximum of $5,000 per calendar year to the Constitutional Media Political Action Committee. DVDs produced and distributed by this group may advocate for or against several candidates for federal office, including for Dr. Paul or Murray Sabin, and against CFR members like McCain, Clinton, and Obama, for example.
There may be no limit to personal or corporate contributions to the sister group, Constitutional Media USA. (Thus one wealthy individual can bankroll a number of projects, if they so desire.) DVDs from Constitutional Media USA, however, can only educate and advocate for or against issues, like for Constitutional Process, and against banker influence, such as from the Council for Foreign Relations. It can not, however, advocate for or against particular candidates--yet it can objectively compare candidates on particular issues.
At this moment we are set up to receive donations only for Constitutional Media Political Action Committee via www.dvds4delegates.com. In a few days we will also provide a path to donate to Constitutional Media USA.
Between these two groups, we can fund a really great set of DVDs and at a minimum, improve the attitudes and understanding we seek from leaders at the National Republican Convention.

1. I do not know if this is permissible. Is one PAC allowed to donate to another PAC? There may be some complicating factors, but I will look into this.
2. My understanding is that we have the entire SC delegates list but need to determine which are RNC delegates.
3. I will forward this to the content management team. I agree, this is an especially important topic and may just be the one thing that pushes people over the edge. Already the MSM is beginning to realize they cannot ignore this issue totally.

We just finished this flyer - DOWNLOAD IT AND PRINT IT!
It's a 1.6mb PDF file that anyone can print at Kinko's, at just about any print shop, or on your own computer. It's designed to be printed eight to a page, and it's small enough to be folded in half and stuffed in a wallet. We did them in time for the DC march, but they will remain useful long after that. If you're not going to the march, get creative and spread them around to every RP supporter you know!
Before printing a bunch out, please do some test prints and be aware of a few things:
1. The text and graphics may spill over the edge of the paper on some printers. In this case, reduce the print size a bit (maybe 98% or a little less) and try again.
2. The dark areas will bleed through to the other side if heavy paper or cardstock is not used. This will especially be true with inkjet printers. Ideally, use heavy parchment type paper that mimics the constitution.
3. If you do them at Kinko's, be aware that they charge about $1.50 per cut for every 200 sheets (or fewer sheets of cardstock). There are four cuts needed, so factor this into the cost unless you want to cut them yourself.

If you find yourself speaking to anyone who may have lost hope about Dr. Paul, hand them one of these flyers and ask them to support the DVDs 4 Delegates project. Many casual supporters are surprised and pleased to hear that we are making this effort to sway the delegates, and they are an untapped resource that we can bring back into the fold and get them excited again, not just about the presidential race, but about the CFL, Freedom Slate '08, etc.

SUGGESTIONS. PLEASE, CONSIDER.
I went to the home page many times before, but it did not contain the info that was looking for, so I have done nothing until today. But, just by chance, I clicked on the Donation page today and WOW! The Donation page is much more informative.
Could you simplify the home page, but add the following information? I think this will help the project much more.
These questions should be answered on the home page in concise statements.
Question 1: I'm maxed out. Why is it that you say, "Individuals may contribute a maximum of $5,000 per calendar year"?
Question 2: What kind of filing obligation do I have with FEC if I donate?
As I said, the Donation page is so much more informative. But, the problem was that I never went to the Donation page until today. Please, add links to the following info on the home page.
Info 1. Evan Cutler Organizer: His info on the home page goes to meetup groups that are PRIVATE and I could not find much about him. But the info on the Donation page is so much better.

As for the "maxed out" deal: donations to the DVDs PAC are totally separate from the Ron Paul 2008 PCC. You can donate up to $5,000 to the PAC, no matter how much you donated to Ron Paul 2008 PCC (the official campaign). You have no filing obligation with the FEC if you donate. We file the reports.

forgive my lack of tech savvy..but when my personal data (address, phone)shows on "profile" what exactly does that mean? I hesitated to sign up if all of that info is for public knowledge. I don't mind my name and city.
Please clarify. Maybe others feel this way also.

Okay, Ron Paul says the official campaign is over. That's his choice. The unofficial, grassroots campaign to get him elected is over when WE say it's over. That's OUR choice.
You tell me. You figure you've done everything humanly possible to win your freedom back? Now you figure you'll just have to content yourself with joining Dr. Paul's social club for freedom lovers, while McCain or Obama becomes our next dictator? Maybe in four or eight years, we'll have another chance, should we live so long?
Seems to me there are just four thousand people who control who becomes the next Republican nominee, and a lot of them don't have much use for John McCain.
WE CAN WIN THIS. DVDs for Delegates can.
DVDs for delegates has the names and addresses of many of those delegates, and we're aiming to get them all. We have assembled some DYNAMITE material to convince those delegates of several things, among them:
1. McCain is a liberal, despised by most serious conservatives, who are likely to sit out the election, guaranteeing a Democrat victory. His main constituency has always been the (liberal) mainstream media. Ron Paul, on the other hand, has more grassroots support than McCain every had, and has brought more new members into the Republican Party than any candidate since Reagan.
2. The US Economy and the Dollar are circling the bottom of the toilet bowl, and headed down fast. McCain has yet to read his first book on economics. Dr. Paul has written several good ones, and knows EXACTLY what needs doing.
3. McCain can't win. He is practically a cartoon figure of incompentence, corruption and treason. His only hope of victory lies in massive vote fraud.
As presently constituted, the USA is no longer a Republic. It never has been a democracy. It is now a dictatorship. Which means: if you aren't the President, or one of the President's buddies, you are NOTHING. Congressmen and Senators and Supreme Court justices are impotent figureheads.
And your freedom is toast. If President McCain or Obama decides to have you ripped out of your bed in the middle of the night, shipped to Guantanamo and tortured to death, what do you think is going to stop him? And if you are still allowed to chatter about freedom, it is only because those with real power know that your chattering is no threat to them whatsoever.
So excuse me if I'm not terribly excited about Dr. Paul's new social club. I am not much interested in anything but WINNING THE PRESIDENCY. I'll pass on the silver medals. The next best thing to winning your liberty is -- not worth winning.
But we still have a shot:. DVDs for Delegates. Maybe it's a long shot. For sure it's a hard one. The only question I have for you is: are you going to do your best to MAKE it? If so, join us now, and let's do it.

Hello Freedom Lovers
We believe it is possible to win the hearts and minds of enough of the National Delegates and Alternates to the RNC this September, that Ron Paul can still win.
Abraham Lincoln got the nomination starting with only one state behind him in the first round, and in 2004 Missouri, for one, proved that a state's delegates can simply absstain for a round and unbind themselves.
We have started the National DVDs for Delegates Project in order to make this happen this year.
Help us! We still need delegate lists, money for production and postage, and organizers in each state.

In answer to a few of the questions I've seen here:
1. Some people have trouble registering accounts. Check your spam mail box for confirmation emails from our server--for some reason gmail, yahoo, and hotmail don't seem to be relaying our registraton response email. You are required to open that email and click a link to confirm that the email listed in your registration really exists.
2. We are improving the donation page. Now we have resumes up for the President and Tresurer, as well as a Project Budget.
3. To see some of who I am and what I've done so far, look at the last link in my signature here--you can actually view the Alaskan DVD for Delegates we sent to all the non-Ron Paul delegates before the Alaskan GOP Convention in March. Note, we only had two weeks to prepare that from when we decided to go for it. We spent 6 weeks writing and refining a script and plan fo rfirst DVD in this project.
4. We need help spreading the word to get the donations we need. Let your meetups know we exist and are working hard to make a difference. If your state had a group that can help with delegate list collection and DVD distribution, let them know.
5. We created a legal framwork for two organizations that will allow us to support other federal candidates along the same values, and to work to educate others with ongoing efforts. Part of our budget for this project includes those startup costs of using attornies and filing papers. But we are built to last and serve this movement in the longer term.
