URGENT - Kucinich delivering impeachment articles NOW!
Dear friends:
A few moments ago, (approximately 7:30 p.m. EDT), Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich took to the floor of the House of Representatives to present 35 Articles of Impeachment against George W. Bush. The House session is being televised live on C-SPAN.
(I'm not a fan of Dennis on most subjects, but I love him right now.)

When Bill Clinton was
When Bill Clinton was impeached there were only 4 articles of impeachment presented to the House of Representatives. He was impeached by the House on two of the charges. There were not enough votes in the Senate to convict Clinton and remove him from office. The Senate was only 17 votes away from conviction on one of the articles.
Now here with George Bush we have 35 articles of impeachment being presented. I haven't read (or watched on cspan) all of the articles, but with there being so many and with only a single one being needed to impeach - Bush's chances don't seem all that great.
MORE URGENTLY in regards to all of this...
When a President is impeached, convicted and removed from office by the Senate - aren't they then replaced by the Vice President?????? Could this all be leading towards President Cheney?

You mean he was still speaking since earlier tonight? For 4 hours or so? I thought they were replaying what he said from earlier. When I turned cspan on at 10pm EST the time was showing 10pm on the video feed but then switched to "7:00pm LIVE" - so I was taking it to be a replay.

His stance on global warming
sucks ass! Its a global government move. Dennis is a globalist. But let him smack down this side of evil. We will get to his side of evil soon enough. Funny to watch fascist and communist go at it though. I hope they all take each other out. They love that power don't they? The republicans want to make sure McCain doesn't win. Only the Democrates have the sheep mob to take us into the global agenda. They better realize we have our own mob. And our manifesto is more spiritualy binding than theirs. I love Dennis for doing this but now that hes getting into climate change and whatnot he should just strike these last articles and stick to the first 29 or 30. He is getting off topic and off of some very firm ground backed up by numerous facts and is now playing politics which is going to submarine this cause. Dammit Dennis you were doing so good!

Even though it MAY in fact be true....
...it really seems a stretch to try and pin all of this Ohio voting stuff on GWB as an article of impeachment. Calling someone (in this case, Blackwell) an "agent" for someone else without providing any real proof of personal culpability, doesn't carry much weight. We all know how entirely screwed up the GOP is, across the entire country. That doesn't mean they're all taking personal instructions from GWB. IMHO, Kucinich was on much firmer ground with all of the previous articles, before this one. Must be the Democrat in him.......

To anyone that believes that this is 'too little too late' I say, thats a bunch of crap. The record must be established in the House, even if it was the last day of Bush's presidency. Let us not say that we did nothing.
Plus Pelosi's stonewalling has only helped this cause by creating so much resentment against the Congress as a whole. It also allowed this resolution to be hammered out and made ready to be brought to the floor. Every one of these articles are absolutely impeachable offenses and I am very glad to see Dennis step forward and introduce them.

While I completely support the sentiment of his act. Is Dennis really expecting to push this through at this point in time? This should have been done 2-3 yrs ago.When it comes to the actual act of impeachment it's a lot of money for little effect. Of course if this is being brought up to embarrass Bush, then I'm all for it
