I registered to vote today, as a republican.
I never in a million years thought I would be a registered republican. I mean, heck, I used to mow Chris Dodd's lawn! But, I heard about Ron Paul a couple months ago, and read his book. I found myself agreeing with many of his ideas. And now I feel maybe I can make a difference.
I also am running for Precinct Commiteeman in my township here in Kansas. I am running unopposed unless someone else signs up before noon today.
I don't know very much about politics. But I hope to become involved and step outside the messageboards and chatrooms. I want to be able to say I tried to make the world a better place for my two young daughters.

Hey I was wondering.. I think it was you who said that you would do some research on wtc7 and give your opinion. At least I think I was debating you on the subject and you said that you were a structural engineer. If not then ignore me. Awesome again that you are getting involved personally in your precinct.
