Please Help Keep the Daily Paul Alive
Dear Friends,
The Daily Paul needs your help. The tremendous energy spawned by this the Ron Paul for President movement is dissipating and fracturing. Support for Dr. Paul fell off precipitously after the New Hampshire primary, and nearly collapsed after Ron Paul's ambiguous video in which he announced that it is time to move on to the next phase. Now everyone seems to be going off in their own direction.
However, there remains a need for a single, national gathering place of freedom supporters. The Daily Paul has served that purpose over the past year and a half, and will continue to do so in the future. It has been called "our national mailing list" by more than one supporter, and it remains the single most popular independent, dedicated Ron Paul site on the net today.
It may appear that the Daily Paul just runs itself - that it is always there, like water when you turn the tap on. However, a considerable amount of work goes into running the site. This is a huge database driven site like this isn't easy to run. Like a car or a piece of machinery, it needs constant attention. From a programming perspective, there is constant tweaking, tuning, etc. Then there is the troll patrol, and the daily torrent of email that never ends.
I have basically borne the costs of running the site myself. Back in the heyday, when advertising revenues were decent, I funneled those costs into hosting, paying programmers, and lots of donations, both to the official campaign and grassroots cuases. I maxed out both mine & my wife's donation limit to the campaign. But now with traffic down, advertising revenue is down, so I need your help to keep the site going.
If you're a regular reader, please help out with a donation of what you can. A little bit will go a long way in keeping this small patch of independent people's media on the air.

I too will send a donation.. You do a great job. This site is addictive. I agree with others on this site, a daily chart of donations and needs is a great idea. Remind us that this isn't free and it takes a lot of hard work.

This site is addicting, thanks for making me a freedom junkie. I'm canceling my worthless magazines subscriptions and turning it over to the DP once a month, thanks. Onward with the Revolution!
PS: I'm in the minority here but I kind of enjoy trolls (BIllyDee) and the like because the DP'ers always smack them down! It makes for good reading and the trolls aren't fooling anyone.

it gets pretty rough here. Not everyone follows the advice of those like Ron Paul, Manystrom, and Khan...to be tolerant and kind. Don't let anyone get to you. Taking off a few days usually does the trick and improves your perspective. The Barr spam will go away soon. See...I don't see a bit of it tonight with the Private Paul Convention and the impeachment news. Woohoo!
