I cannot believe that this morning I come to DP as usual to check on what is going on and SGP is still the main subject?
I don't know the man, don't have any reason to doubt or to believe in him one way or the other, have never been a part of any of his groups or discussions so really have no opinion of his knowledge or loyalty but...............
When a group of adult people who have so much to lose spend such a lot of time destroying a persons reputation I hear alarm bells. Many people seem to feel that in order to be important or gain allies they need to expose others for what they perceive them to be. WHY? Who cares? If someone does not meet your criteria as a friend, associate or even a group member then just ignore him or her and go on about your serious business.
This site has had it's problems and has survived losing many readers due to such posts about personal affairs. This site should be about what we can do to save our nation. Isn't that the most important agenda to be concerned with?
I am really disappointed in the caliber of posts here lately. Get busy and get back on track, this may be the last chance we all have to fix the mess we have allowed this country to be in. Yes we are all to blame. We sat back and allowed all these politicians to put us in the poor house both financially and morally. Losing rights and freedoms without a whimper until it became unbearable and one lone voice reminded us of what is happening and giving us a chance to stand up and fight for what we know is right.
Think for yourself, would you hear or see Ron Paul concentrating on what one individual is doing or not doing? No he is looking towards the future and showing us the way. He is not vindictive or mean spirited and has very little respect for those that are.
I have been so busy concentrating on the Sturgis Freedom Festival I have neglected to post a lot but do read and hope a new topic can be started which will help the country, not keep on and on about a thread which has resulted in dividing many people who should be working shoulder to shoulder to move forward.
Remember this is a site for hope and solutions not the Jerry Springer show.

Given his high visibility, just how much harm can Steve Parent, or the actions of the delegates who received their "instruction" from him, do to RP and the reputations of the many who have worked so hard to become delegates working within the GOP, as RP requested?
If Steve Parent were involved with *your event* and you knew nothing about the felony convictions, what would you do to protect your event once you found out?
How would you feel about finding out about the felony convictions online vs. a private conversation with Steve Parent himself?

Granny, my concerns are not about the delegate instruction in the past.
They are about whether or not riots may occur at the RNC (either one), whether by RP supporters or *plants*.
Either way, look at the media headlines about "RP's wacko supporters"- How would any RP message be spread in the middle of such chaos?
Take a quick glance at the posts in this thread that was activated again today (was this thread a source for the Fox segment on the RNC revolt?):

There is already going to be a massive protest of the RNC by Anti-Authoritarians and Anarchists. This protest has been in the planning for two years and it involves blocking the five bridges into the city, putting a halt to transportation to the convention, convention disruption, and a three month occupation of the city. This will be the most organized protest of all time.
Granny, please ask yourself what are the risks for the RP movement, if there are riots/tasers at your event, the March on July 12, or at the RNC (either convention)?
Does RP take "time out" from expressing his concerns about monetary policy, etc.?

Get to Sturgis by hook or crook..lol... look at the web site www.revolution4freedom.com and you will see we have people from all areas giving workshops daily, speaking and helping to move this movement forward. We cannot give up and just stand chanting "RON PAUL" "RON PAUL" waving flags and signs is great and a motivational tool but it has run it's course and we need to all get down to brass tacks now and go to work. There is not much time left to get prepared to either fight back or hide. I choose to fight back.
We all need to know how to work more easily and smarter, the speakers we have lined up can help with that.
Not only that we have some great entertainment so it is not all work and no play.
So far we have an estimated attendence of approximately 20,000 coming which will make it a great place to get to know people from all over the country and make contacts that can help us all work as a team.
Help us keep promoting the event: post it to all of your groups, friends, family and even those you don't like.
I am so serious about this event I borrowed $20,000 to finish paying for this event, my heart is in the future not in the past and we all have to decide if we are going to allow our country to fail or to be determined to make it what it was meant to be.
Thank you all for any help you can give us in promoting this event. We have made it so every one can afford to be there. No cost camping, no charges for any of the entertainment, no charges for promotional items, the only real cost will be transportation and that should not be that much of a problem as it is during vacation time and the only really family oriented event going on. You don't have to march, you don't have to yell and scream just mozy around and find what interests you and your family, enjoy great food and company. Relax and have a good vacation with thousands of others that are like minded.

Education finding and spreading the truth about the Constitution is what it should be all about. That is what Ron Paul is doing. Anything in direct opposition to Constitution Freedoms should be addressed.
