Many of us may be sad that the presidential campaign ends today, but perk up! Today, it is true that one campaign ends... and what a campaign it has been! But now, let us begin a new campaign, a campaign for liberty! Let's not look back, but only forward! We have the Convention in Minneapolis, the D.C. March, and the future of our country ahead of us!

Fraudulent Counting
I believe we have even more numbers than WE know. I believe the counts in many of the primaries were fraudulent and we WILL win in the end!!!

I think about 2.5 mil votes.. and about 7 mil EASY, who know of Dr. NO, but are in the mindset of they don't look like winning then they won't vote.
Worldwide.. I did some calculations (CONSERVATIVELY) and it worked out to around 20,000,000 Ron Paul supporters worldwide.

the Ron Paul 2008 Campaign is off the agenda (for now), but I believe that w/the new Liberty Campaign we will be wildly successful! People are beginning to ask more questions now and we've got all the answers. I am ready!

I take up my cap and musket, I kiss my wife goodbye. I know not what may become us, but we go forth against the foe united in purpose, and determined that victory shall be ours. I will be in DC, and Minneapolis, and stand beside my brothers and sisters. I will do whatever it takes to save my country.

Got home from work and went
Got home from work and went straight to the DP and read about the forthcoming announcement. After sitting here quietly for awhile -- sad that this is officially "it" -- I am glad that this movement will continue. As Ron Paul himself often said, this whole thing was not about one man in particular, but a revolution of ideas. I really and truly hope that this is the watershed moment for liberty candidates far and wide. We need to start affecting change from the inside, and I'm hopeful that the Campaign for Liberty will help us do that. I want my kids to read about Ron Paul and the change he started in their history books someday - and I think they will, if we all take up the torch and keep this thing alive.

I'm somewhat releaved. When he first said he was staying in it was before this last batch of primaries. Which IMO if had gone swimmingly, we would be staying-the-course. Well we all know what has traspired and time is ticking for a vote solution and new direction.
That direction will be revealed very soon. Unfortunately I have to goto work tonight and will miss all the hooplah.

Seriously, finding Ron Paul literally changed my life and the way in which I look at things going on in the world around me. I would love to be able to get to thank him in person someday - hopefully in Minneapolis!!!!!
This is cool...
and we all know he isn't going to be president any way. We have to rebuild our government from the ground up... not the top down. It doesn't matter because if RP did win, he wouldn't be able to accomplish anything with this Congress.
I'm all for continuing the campaign and getting as many delegates to the convention... but it doesn't and cannot end there. We have to take this country back one office at a time.

I'm so excited that the Doc has started this new organization, I've been patiently waiting since March. I'm already a member! I can't wait to see him speak about it tonight...
This is good news.
I see from the comments that some people are sad, but speaking as a person who was on national staff, I see a lot of good coming out of this.
1) FEC regulations really inhibited the Paul campaign from sharing resources with the grassroots, and more recently, with endorsed candidates. These restrictions will go away.
2) The campaign had been losing steam since February and now people will have a project to get busy with again.
3) The new group is pushing for exactly the sort of thing we need volunteers focused on: running candidates, identifying and canvassing voters, winning elections. What was one race before, will become thousands.
4) When the mass media announces the news, people that thought Ron dropped out months ago may notice that the media lied to them about that.
I'm sure there are more positive aspects to this news, but that's ample.

Sad??? Sad doesn't even begin to describe my feelings
about this. The campaign season isn't over until the convention in September. It is unbelievable to me that RP would bail on this now? Maybe he's not what I believed him to be, but simply more of the same but in a different package. Yeah, I know....look at his voting record. But, who's to say this wasn't all part of the plan for the last days of the USA??? I don't know what to believe anymore.

American doesn't exist now as the people of 1945 knew it. If America doesn't exist in 2012 as we know it, well....we will have our work cut out for us.
We have a strong background and foundation of civil liberty behind us. No other nation has ever had that. When the Soviet Union collapsed, the people didn't know what to do, because they didn't have the cultural knowledge that comes from many generations of civil liberty, to work from. The Russian people are still floundering around, going nowhere. We will not be ignorant and hopeless. If bad things happen to American, we will know what to do during and afterwards.

so, I don't think he's really ending his campaign (because he wants to keep his delegates for the convention, remember....)
