On his website, it says, "I have decided to end my campaign for the Presidency of the United States."
Campaign = active pursuit of an office
He is STILL a candidate
Candidate = eligible selection for office
You can still vote for him (I sure plan to). But no, he is not actively pursuing the Oval Office any more. Instead, he is pursuing us. He wants us to step up to the plate and get involved personally. Just like he's been saying all along!!

Ron Paul has stopped running for the 2008 republican nomination for the presidency of the united states. He is now taking the presidential "campaign" and transforming it into the "Campaign for Liberty".

This simply shows Ron Paul's dedication! All the other "candidates" are nowhere to be seen....not RP! We will expand on what we've done and keep winning local elections on up to the top positions in govt. Michael Nystrom(owner of the Daily Paul) has been added to the blogging rolls at Campaign for Liberty as well! This is awesome! I've donated already as have others. It's time to go Super Nova with our beliefs! Or are we fair weather supporters of freedom? It's time for us to be in the spotlight and we had better take it and make good use of it!!! Strike while the iron is hot. The future will be bleak and only prove our ideas and concerns to be true. We must accomplish what RP is setting before us. Hot dog I'm excited!!!!!!
