Website admits that Ron Paul quit

It's really clear people. Black and white. go read the website.
So he just wrecked the work of all those people that worked to become delegates for him then?
Now everyone will have to vote for McCain. I'm really disappointed. I thought he was going to keep going until the actual convention.
What's the deal here?

But that's from my perspective.
Let me ask you that are reading this a few questions. Did Dr. Paul manage to get & stay elected all these years by being a quitter? Has his track record proven that he can't be trusted, or that he is far wiser than he lets on sometimes? And how much more will a campaign for liberty be able to do (legally) than a campaign for president?
The point behind the message is to get involved and become the government we ought to have. As I have said in other posts, Dr. Paul is just one man. This isn't the end...not even close. And I for one can't wait to see what the good Dr. has up his sleeve.

will still be voting for Ron Paul for crying out loud!(everyone will have to vote for McCain,sheesh!)

All one has to do is come up with a conspiracy theory
to spin it. The CFR threatened Paul's life and made him put this on the website. The fact that he didn't explicitly say this in his speech is a clue.

He stopped his campaign. He is still a candidate. But if it makes you happy to say he "dropped out" why don't you just take that and run with it. Run right on out of here because you don't need this site any more.

Campaign and candidate are two different things as fanofwalt so clearly explains. His campaign is ended. He has not removed himself as a candidate. His speech did not say he was no longer a candidate. He is going through the convention.
