Uh...

Pile

While I feel bad for his family

I do not know how these news people can sell their soul to the corporate interests so easily and then sleep nights ? they are supposed to be "NEWS?" men and journalists , but all they become are puppets.

Be careful about lumping all of them in one catagory.

Also, if I were in their shoes, I would feel a lot of pressure. Ethical considerations to fullfill a contract. Ethical considerations about decisions. And finally, maybe a lifestyle that may not be able to take a pay cut.

We all have our roles.

OK, I'll split the difference...

Tim was a Towering Pile of Shit.

Over and Out.

Hey look! I can say shit

Hey look! I can say shit too! shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit!

Hope you got your rocks off and you will stop posting this ..... shit!

Buh-bye.

Yeah, I'm done

"Taking a good shit is the most underrated pleasure in the world."
--Lyndon B. Johnson (another great humanitarian)

Winston ...

Do as you wish, but I personally would refrain from non constructive criticsm until a later date.

Only a request.

We all have our roles.

Shitbag.

Shitbag.

bump

pile of shit

When I reflect on these occasions I think ...

what if it were I. Personally, I could care less what people think of me, but I do have kids and a wife. I would hope that people would think of them and save any non constructive criticism for another time.

We all have our roles.

Tim Russert

I had tremendous respect for him. He worked for Sen. Moynahan in the early years. I think he got a lot of his political wisdom from him. I loved his book about his dad.

Hard nosed questioner.

Meet the Press was the only Sunday Show that you didn't need a glass of water to wash it down.

He lost a lot of credibility with me when he whored himself out to Don Imus on his show.

I have a feeling his replacement will be a rediculous dissappointment. I bet they bring back Brokaw at least temporarily.

He always seemed captivating. He was obviously a good listener.

A devout Catholic.

Good man.

I will pray for him and his family tonight.

What a wonderful, positive

What a wonderful, positive and engaging topic, Winston. Thought-provoking, too. You have nothing better to do with yourself? Pathetic.

Please forgive me for interrupting the eulogy

of a prominent enabler of war crimes.

Interrupting a eulogy? Did

Interrupting a eulogy? Did I make a statement either way about my thoughts on Russert? Don't think so. Just merely pointing out the tasteless, crass, and juvenile nature of your thread ... which I'm sure you're quite proud of.

The eulogy is in progress in the CCM

So tell us what a great guy Tim was.

You said you don't have

You said you don't have television anyway, so what do you care?

And to answer your question, frankly, I don't really have too much of an opinion about the man either way. Only watched the show when Ron Paul was on, and that was via Youtube. I just think it's pathetic that you feel some urge to pose such a juvenile topic like this when there are so many good things going on with the r3volution. Dr. Paul would be so proud.

Do these characteristics feel familiar, Winston Smith?

Common characteristics of people with antisocial personality disorder include:

* Persistent lying or stealing
* Recurring difficulties with the law
* Tendency to violate the rights and boundaries of others (property, physical, sexual, emotional, legal)
* Substance abuse
* Aggressive, often violent behavior; prone to getting involved in fights
* A persistent agitated or depressed feeling (dysphoria)
* Inability to tolerate boredom
* Disregard for the safety of self or others
* A childhood diagnosis of conduct disorders - this is not a symptom but "a history of"
* Lack of remorse, related to hurting others
* Superficial charm
* Impulsiveness
* A sense of extreme entitlement
* Inability to make or keep friends
* Recklessness, impulsivity[4][5]
* People with a diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder often experience difficulties with authority figures.

Only the last one

in relation to what passes for 'authority figures' these days.

BTW, I'm waiting for your Russert eulogy. Particularly the part concerning to the run-up and persecution of the Iraq War. It's not that I care about the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi victims (being a sociopath and all). It's just that 'problem' with authority figures, doncha know? Well, let's hear it (I don't watch the boob tube, so I won't be able to tell if you plagerize it from CNN).

Really?

Perhaps you're not aware of it, but do you recall a woman every telling you that she felt you violated her space or boundaries? Something tells me that has happened to you more than once or twice.

I think in this thread alone you've demonstrated a lack of remorse, a sense of extreme entitlement, and recklessness.

Like to jump to those conclusions, huh?

I assume you had much more time to evaluate Mr. Russert, with apparently as much success.

The funny thing is, nobody

The funny thing is, nobody here is even "eulogizing" Russert ... they're taking issue with YOU about the thread. Not our fault that you can't see the difference.

I never said anyone here was eulogizing Russert

I simply asked a question. The eulogy is in progress on the CCM. I find these media whores offensive, and their eulogies enraging. There are bigger whores than Tim; Unfortunately, they did not die today.

Get a Grip

Instead of wasting your time spewing off about Russert, mhsrip, why don't you focus your energy on helping a fellow Conservative Republican attain office this year?

Do you disagree that this is what it's really about?

...Man... Well to be honest

...Man... Well to be honest I thought he was a SPoS before and likened him to O'Reilly and Hannity. Now that he's dead should that have changed my opinion of him???

Shame on you

What's wrong with you asking a question like that?
I don't comment too much on here, but this is out of line.

If the Corporate Controlled Media can call him a towering

figure in journalism, I can call him a steaming pile of shit. If Josef Goebbels hadn't committed suicide, do you think they would have hanged him? I'm sure many Nazis considered him a 'Towering Figure'.

You are a disgrace

You are a disgrace to humanity in general, and to the Campaign for Liberty in particular.

I suppose if sociopaths make up 5% of the population, we're bound to have a few even among Ron Paul supporters.

5% of the population

The same can be said of Imbeciles.

Well, the presence of imbeciles on this forum is known

But that's a separate issue.

Oh yeah, I'm the disgrace

not that lying sack of shit cheerleading the post 9/11 lynchmob. Why don't you eulogize him for us? I need a good laugh.

Even if you dont like him why would you speak ill of the dead?

We need to unite not divide and Tim R maybe was not an acuall reporter by definition as far as objectionable although he did indeed bring up skull and bone with gwb/jon kerry did you ever think he was coming around and the powers that be were not able to handle tim coming out he really did sabbatage Dr paul but who didnt even m gravel talked crap worse then tim he did ask a few hard question he was way better then hannity, orielly, mattews ,savage, limbaugh and many others! I will miss Tim and pray for him to be forgivin and his children !for he knew not what he was doing, did his children do anything wrong?or his wife ?is he the devil ?! HUMANITY?wtf we lead by example and any one with that type of attitude here have spoken a tremendous disservice to the DR and all of us! I want to love my neighbor because its the right thing to do not because i am the judge of him i can think of many worst tody i am ashamed any one else feel like crawling in a hole what the hell do you gain by throw him to the wolves??like idiots to me why do you not forgive a man with no convictions or proof of any kind he was the new world order mastermind I wonder if and when evelyn Rothschild dies if you are even going to mention it?that is the enemy and the subject is chaulked up to crazy conspiracy even though RON PAUL validated this on glenn beck live!get a grip, get clue and prey you will somehow gain some intelligence from somewheres

Hey

He attacked and brought to light Hillary's lies in that debate. That was his finest moment on earth.

So long, Tim...

So he was an Obama supporter

Big Deal.

Russert = MSM

MSM = Steaming Pile of Shit. end of line

Question

Does someone become a saint the moment they die?
Why do people not speak ill of the dead?

If he was a slanted journalist Democrat posing as an objective journalist, is he any different now that he's gone. No.

Sure its sad for him and his family. But really, nothing changes about a person once they die.

This disrespectful garbage

This disrespectful garbage needs to be deleted!

+1

.

Show some respect, please

He died today.
Regardless of what you thought of his work, he was a fellow human being.

A modicum of decorum, please.

Fellow Human Being

so was Pol Pot.

Russert no Pol Pot

First, Russert was no Pol Pot.
Second, even Pol Pot deserved basic human respect.

What is the matter with you people?

I really don't think you can

I really don't think you can compare Tim Russert to the dictator and murderer Pol Pot.... that's a bit extreme don't you think?

Is everyone who was not openly a Ron Paul supporter and groveling at his feet suddenly a terrible person?

I personally think Tim Russert was hard on Ron Paul in that interview.... especially because he wasted so much time talking about the stupid Civil War thing when he could have been talking about real issues....

But I don't think he's a pile of shit just because of that.

I was responding to the vacuity of the "He's a human being"

remark. OK, so he's no Pol Pot; How about a Josef Goebbels?

No he was Tim Russert... I

No he was Tim Russert...

I only judge a person as an individual... I don't stereotype/compare them to others.

that doesn't make much sense

coming from aVoiceofReason. What do you campare a person to, oranges?

affirmation: President Paul

affirmation: President Paul 2008
Serious journalism? Great journalist? Always asking the "tough questions"?
I think not.............

Doesnt really matter anymore

To listen to the high ackalades given of Tim Russert is a classic example of the bullshit that fuels politics. I know this, its one less obsticale for the Revolution.

hear hear. He was a tool of the MSM period.

Anyone that thinks he was an objective journalist is FOS,and has some homework to do.

A christian friend of mine

A christian friend of mine said that there is a passage in the bible that says... those of prominence who speak in half-truths will be judged harshly. Not sure...I haven't read it.
