Paul supporters, I wish to offer an apology. I've trolled, insulted, and buried you and I admit I was wrong for doing so. I do not totally agree with your views, but after seeing the TOTAL ignorance about the Constitution being spread in the various threads about the SCOTUS decision re: the Gitmo detainees, More awareness about The Constitution can't be a bad thing. Best of luck to you. You'll get no more bad-mouthing from me.
remorse and guilt. 2 qualities I thought were extinct. But since hes not a con artist or a socio-pathic scammer Im not surprised that he realized his past faults and appologized

Now that RP is "Out of the race" you'll start to see the media be a little nicer to him and his supporters but only because he's out now. If he were still in it would be the same crap. They just want us to vote for someone else to help make their election process look legitimate. I kinda suspect that RP never really wanted to win. He just wanted to get his message out. I hope generations from now his name will still be floated around as the man who turned America back into a great nation.

I spoke with a fellow Repub today...
and explained that even though the decision may be unpopular, it was the right one. Who knows how long it will be until like minded, limited gov't american citizens are considered enemy combatents. They could take me from my family, throw away the key, and I would have no recourse. He saw my point, but expressed the fear of the growing threat of Islam. I tried to explain that the Islamist extremists are a very small percentage of the religion, and that the abortion clinic bombers are also extremists. I think he is coming around. I am not afraid of Islam, though I don't agree with it. If the chinese were doing to us what we are doing in Irag, I would take up arms and fight too. Godspeed to liberty.
