I just finnished reading this book.

I must tell you if just half of what is in there is true, then we have a real problem folks.

This book documents the evils of the American Foriegn Policy run amok with power. It documents how Washinton, through all its agencies, the FBI, especially the CIA, the State Department, the military, the local police, the INS, and so on down the line are all guilty of the most terrible crimes.

If you cannot see Facsist America comming around the corner, then read this, and you will see its been here all a along. I have met many Ron Paul Patriots that did not have a clue what Daddy Bush did to Pannama, or what LBJ did to Hondurous, or Reagan did to El Salvador, .... you will now.

If you beileved we needed to shrink Federal and State Power down to size now, wait until you read this book. You will Really see the need for abolishing whole departments such as the CIA. The CIA is nothing more than a President's Private Military Force, a force that may or may not like its President.

Even the INS needs to be striped down, abolished really, then rebuilt. The INS has crazy system irrational rules and laws. THe INS needs to be totally striped down and rebuilt from the ground up. THe INS needs to be totally reworked, and its SUPER POLICE Powers that makes them ALL Above the Law and unsueable, untouchable or accountable to you and me, all vaporized. Our local police can only dream of being untouchable like the INS. THe CIA and FBI use it as their play thing. The INS can and does require the IRS to hand over your Tax Returns, and it seems, through higher chains from above, the CIA, may have you put away on "tax evasion", or if that is not enough, someone higher up "alerts" the FBI to your stash of cocaine in your bedroom walls. What cocaine? You may scream as the FBI drug goons have smashed your door down, flash bombed you in your living room, and drag you out. Why its the cocaine that the CIA has been traficing in for decades.

Meanwhile your local police agency in cohoots with the FBI charge your house & car with the "crime" and take it from you -- prior to trial-- what trial? The INS has you jailed up somewhere, anywhere, with no rights, ZERO,...all on the claim your "legal status" is in "question" since they cannot find a birth certificate (that no one looks for). Bottom line, if "they" want you gone, you are gone.

Think because you are high up in Government itself that you are not vulnerable? Take on the War on Drugs perhaps? Well former Surgeon General Jocelyn Elders simply questioned the War on Drugs, her son was sentanced to 10 years in prison for selling one-eigth of an ounce of cocaine to an UNDER COVER police officer. Her son's arrest took place 5 months AFTER the sale, on a warrant issued just one week after his mother Jocelyn DARED to suggest that the government "Study the legalization of Drugs".

What will become clear to the Ron Paul Patriot is that the writer comes from the leftist progessive school of thought. He gives fact after fact, even questions the mantra that "We are a Free Country", yet like a faithful progressive never says to himself, "Hey maybe the Libertarians are right, government is WAY too big, WAY too powerful" Absolute power corrupts absolutely and there is way too much Power in this country. Instead he thinks if government had the "right people" in it all would be well. If government had the "Right" policies, all would be well. The fact is, human nature is what it is, and absolute power (in any sphere of influence) corrupts absolutely.

Lets learn from this author's own mistake and realize that we aim to shrink government SIZE, SCOPE & POWER, period. The less power it has, the less harm it can do. Certainly we need to get this country's power back INSIDE America so it will stop terrorizing the rest of the world's people. If we do not, then we can expect a lot more "blowback" as Ron Paul has said.
