Because, as has been noted here already, digg is rigged. I don't have an account there and will continue spending my time on more honest sites. My free market decision is to decline offers to participate in dishonest enterprises and instead find/create honest alternatives.

Anyone care to explain how the stories get buried? I thought i read somewhere that it takes only 7 people to bury them. Is that correct? Lets go make our own bury patrol and bury everything that looks like BS propagandist media fluff. We can start with anything that has Obama or McTumorOnSideOfMyFaceSoAlwaysSitMeOnTheRightInDebatesSoICanTryToHideIt

And I do understand your frustration. Haven't been on the DP for two days (though I forgot to logout). After Ron Paul announced the CFL I thought a new spirit might raise, and there were interesting and inspiring threads here. But now it's again Laurie v. SGP, truther v. the rest of DP, Granny v. the DC march and so on. Aargh! Shouldn't be so hard for everyone just to the work that is afforded instead of all that bickering.

I really think we should give credence to the methodology of groups. Without going into a full dissertation here, as I am not qualified, I would dare say that the nature of developing a common cause can create much friction and IRON SHARPENS IRON. Let them hash it out and continue they must do so to find their way. We must continue to seek out what is right for our country for the hope of our children. a few squabbles and flamed up comments are not a deterrant and if we all could educate in order to effect change by all means please do. and as Rhino so aptly puts it: WE ALL HAVE OUR ROLES.
