It Worked Again!!!
Pictures of some of our artwork are here!
It worked again this weekend! We chalk-penned our car windows in red, white and blue, with signs like "Honk 4 Freedom!" "Ron Paul Revolution" "Ron Paul/Restore the Republic!" "No NAIS, NO Real ID". "Secure our Borders" We have it all over the back window, and on the side windows. Everywhere we go, people honk, and wave, and then when we stop, people come up and talk to us. Yesterday, while sitting in a drive-thru at Jack in the Box, someone in front of us pulled out a bumper sticker and started waving it-it was a Ron Paul bumper sticker! We got their email address so we can get together and start a meetup for the campaign for liberty. Also keep wearing those shirts that say Ron Paul-a bumper sticker works well too, hung on one of the necklaces from convention. It is surprising how many people take notice and say they are for him-it gives us an opening to tell them about the campaign for liberty, and ask them to get involved at the local levels.
Yesterday while the car sat on the parking lot and I went into shop a Wal-Mart store, someone came up and wrote the email for the forums down, so they can go learn more. They were noticed because someone stayed in the car.
This is a fun way to keep the revolution rolling along-I wish everyone would go do this and start a "ron paul road revolution" for the campaign for liberty.

I can relate!
I have an old VW camper bus with RP stuff all over it. I have big magnets on the sides, two bumper stickers front and rear, stickers on all the windows ("NOT FOR SALE - Ron Paul 2008", "Support Our Troops - not Blackwater - Vote Ron Paul", etc.), and home made R3VOLution signs inside the rear windows.
Last weekend I drove from L.A. down to San Onofre State Beach to hang out for the day. Driving through the parking area I saw several RP stickers on parked cars and got numerous thumbs up and hoots from strangers. When I parked a woman ran up to my bus and said "I love Ron Paul!". I asked her if she had seen "Washington You're Fired!" and she said "no" so I gave her a DVD. As I was pulling out later in the day I was on my cell phone and a guy was dying to talk to me but I had to hit the road. He was bummed but we exchanged peace signs and waves. As I was driving from back to LA, three cars in a row honked and waved. Driving the first car was a black man and a teenager (I'm guessing his son), and as he drove by he was pumping his fist and giving the thumbs up, obviously very excited about seeing another RP supporter (I was going to mention this in the racism post but it seems to be gone).
I witness this kind of stuff all the time to one degree or another. The R3VOLution is alive and well!

My RP bumper-sticker is now a permanent fixture to my car. It's never coming off.

EXACTLY
This is what the Granny Warriors have done for the past year and half. It works, we handed out over 50,000 slim jims in this time plus thousands of bumper stickers and donation envelopes for Dr. Paul.
We have witnessed accidents happening because people were reading the Motor home instead of watching traffic, thousands of folks slowing down and reading the sides of the vehicle, I can't even guess at the number of times it was photographed, this is one of the best methods of reaching people who are not on line. We have proved it works. see the warwagon at: www.grannywarriors.com

Great Marketing
I'm headed to Portland this weekend with simular slogans. Way to go!
Keeping Track
Comments on the windows are working. Had three cars honk, wave, and give the "thumbs up" sign. Surprising, they were all young people (late teens, early 20's). Also was standing in the line to pay for gas, and heard a gentleman behind me say "Hey, Ron Paul, that's my man". Wish I would have had time to discuss why the gas prices are so outrageous and Ron Paul's solutions.
Road Revolution is on its way...Go Campaign for Liberty!!!!!
Go Chuck Baldwin and Ron Paul!!!!
Good Work
Glad to see your "Road Revolution" taking off. Good luck with it. Hopefully it will encourage others to participate in some form or another.

Bump-I think this is a great way to encourage more interest in the campaign for liberty. We could also use this to support our local candidates as we drive about town, doing our errands.
Bumper Sticker? CAR WRAP!!
I am ready right now to have my Jeep wrapped with Campaign for Liberty designs. The main logo, url, basic mission statement -- all of it!
Well, I'm ready except for the $$$ it would cost, but wouldn't this be a great thing to have readily available for supporters? Think of it! The Campaign for Liberty is in its infancy; a car entirely draped in a clean, neat, eye-catching CFL design would really stand out and grab attention -- people wouldn't be able to help but wonder, "What's this "Campaign for Liberty" thing?"
Here's a little info from Wikipedia on mobile advertisements (car wraps) - excerpt; emphases mine:
"Industry analysts, researchers and trade representatives have researched the effectiveness of mobile billboards. Outdoor Advertising Magazine said that outdoor mobile media billboards have a 97% recall rate, and 96% of survey respondents thought mobile advertising is more effective than traditional outdoor advertising. 3M and the American Trucking Association noted 91% of the target noticed the text and graphics on truck advertising, and the Traffic Audit Bureau noted that on local routes monthly impressions ranged from one to four millions hits. Product Acceptance and Research said 94% of respondents recalled seeing the Mobile Billboard, with 80% recalling the specific advertisement; the billboards resulted in a sales increase of 107%."
Pretty impressive results, eh? And the product we'd be "selling" is a FREE membership...in pursuit of a FREE country!
Here's one thing I wouldn't do: I wouldn't put Ron Paul's pic on it. Why for? Because I rather suspect there is a whole contingent of people who would join the cause in a heartbeat given the CFL's mission statement, BUT, these may be a lot of the same people who think they know RP, when, of course, all they "know" is from the MSM. I'd much rather advertise the cause, let them discover that this is what RP has been all about, watch their faces as they realize what they passed up in the primaries, and then delight in watching them work doubly hard for the cause. (That's how it happens in my imagination, at least.) So while I'd want to keep the legend, "Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty," I'd want to make sure the focus is on the movement rather than the man. YMMV.
Anyway: how many people would consider wrapping their car with some sort of CFL design? For the sake of argument, let's say the cost is affordable (whatever affordable means to you) -- how many here would be willing to envelop their car in a giant "billboard" for the CFL?
I've thought about this before myself
Shouldn't be that expensive, but I don't think it is super durable. Not sure. But I will want to know.
I also agree with you about making this all about RPC4L.
Oh, also, ya gotta behave yourself when you are driving a car like this!!!
Come up with a really cool design that I will want on my car.
I agree, the first few times
I agree, the first few times we drove around with this, we had police cars following us- after they read the signs, and saw we weren't breaking any laws, they have left us alone. It is kinda scary the first few times, because you are making strong statements, but it gives you a good sense of patriotic pride to be able to do something like this for liberty, and know it does make a difference.
Also, I recommend having some printed material on hand in the car so that when people ask questions, you can point them in the right direction- handing them a paper makes it easier for them to remember. I have to print out some more info, because yesterday someone was requesting it, and all I had in the car, was campaign info for Ron Paul.
Everyone should have a Bag O' Paul!
I always have my Bag O' Paul with me! Filled with slim-jims, DVDs, info cards and other literature, it's at the ready for whenever opportunity strikes.
The other day, when RP said that write-in votes for him would be unproductive, I was considering removing my RP for Prez magnets from my car, but I really wanted to have CFL magnets to immediately replace those. So I hadn't removed the RP magnets just yet.
So yesterday, I was out and about, and as I was pulling out of a parking lot, another car came pulling in. They're honking and shouting something at me, and so I stop to see what's the matter. Turns out they're yelling, "Ron Paul!!!" They walk up to my car, we chat, I tell them about CFL (they didn't know about it!) and after a few minutes, we kindred sprits went our separate ways.
Good thing I still have those magnets on, eh? ;) Now I have to add CFL literature (is there any yet?) to my Bag O' Paul! Hm; I may have to rename it my Bag O' Freedom!
Just bumping-lets get the
Just bumping-lets get the Ron Paul Road Revolution off and running!!!!

I went to Siesta Key Beach here in Florida the other day and saw a car with "Ron Paul Revolution" huge decal on the back window of a sports car.

In my town, Walmart is truly the only store where you can buy things. They got us by the short hairs, but, unfortunately, I would have to buy EVERYthing on Ebay or drive 90 miles round trip. I love Walmart...lol

Great story :-) I know I love driving around town and coming across other vehicles with Ron Paul bumper stickers on them too ... kinda feels like a "kindred spirit" sort of thing ... lol

We bought ours in the automotive dept,-they are called chalk pens. The slim line was purchased in the mailbox area in Wal-Mart. If you have trouble finding them, just ask a store clerk. They come in different colors, and lots of fun decorating!
What wonderful news and a
great idea. Do they have stickers for Campaign for Liberty yet? Peace
My son
has a Ron Paul sticker on his truck. His girlfriend was waiting for him in his parked truck when a woman running by came over to the truck and started apparently writing on it. Then she saw his girlfriend and said, "Oh, excuse me." She ran off. When my son returned, he saw that "Go Ron Paul" had been written on his truck.
We gotta get this man on the ticket, any ticket for November. We gotta.
Still have my Ron Paul bumper sticker
And it is the first bumper sticker I've ever placed on my car (driving for 30 yrs.) and probably the last.....until his son runs. Someone saw it the other day and honked, blinked his lights, and pulled me over to ask about what was going on with Ron. I gave him some info. and some web sites to look at. He was a gov't postal employee too. Another old friend of mine that I had told about Ron 6 months ago told me the other day that he had recently sent a donation to Ron Paul. Yes, without question, "he's catchin' on!" I wish he caught on a little quicker, but better late than never. Of course, he may have gotten ten million votes in the primaries and we wouldn't know it.....and we'll never know it if the voting system is not changed. The gov't wants "the people" to verify just about everything, why should they not verify votes in writing? I'll let you guess the answer to that.
Stickers al over my car
do'nt want to be a bummer but it's easy to honk your horn. We need these people to want to do more !
Yea Ron Paul is my hero!!!
I was driving down a freeway and all of a sudden I heard in the backround somebody was yelling RON PAUL RON PAUL!!! GO RON PAUL man that made my day a great day! This was my first bumper sticker on my car.
Don't steal. Government hates competition.
I support the troops. Not the idiots who sent them.
Neo Cons are the anointed ones to wreck the GOP and America.
Made my day too!
A few weeks ago, while I was stopped at a traffic light, I heard someone yelling "Go Ron Paul!". My young (8 & 10 yr old) sisters said, "That person was yelling at you". Not only is it my first bumper sticker, it's on my first car.
After my car gets new doors and is back on the road, I plan to add a "Don't Steal - The Government hates Competition" and a "Don't Blame Me - I supported Ron Paul" bumper stickers.
good ideas here
Keep 'em coming. :-)

Need to change
the stickers and signs to relate to the new name. New design. We are grass roots so home made is all we need . Stop with the money bombs already. Power in numbers. Power to the people. Some of us are out of money.
Reminds me
The other day I was just about to leave the grocery story parking lot when a slick-looking dark blue PT Cruiser pulled in with "Ron Paul for President" permanently printed in 6 or 7 inch letter on the back of the car! I waited until it was parked and went over the stuck out my hand and said "nice to meet you Patriot." This was a man in his 70s with one of those portable oxygen tank set ups and proped proudly on his head was a billed-cap "Retired Navy." What a wonderful man, who "wants his country back."
We chatted for a few minutes and I invited to stop by our ranch. Oh, I hear you thinking, "just another one of those rowdy Ron Paul insurgents!" NOT, too funny and yet inspiring at the same time.
IT'S DOABLE
Great stories Paulette and CountryWhiz
