Is O'Reilly Bad???
Last night, one of my converts of about 6 months, was telling me about one of O'Reilly's shows that sounded like he was very much a Ron Paul kind of guy; you know how good they are at that. I said, "Ya, but you can't believe him or trust him." She said, "Is O"Reilly Bad??" She said it with bewilderment in her voice!! We are so easily fooled. Even Ron Paul people don't know they cannot trust any media and they still don't recognize the neocons who sound oh so good. I can listen to Rush, and I do sometimes, for hours in his rants before I can tell he is a neocon. He can go on forever sounding very much Paulian.

They're all the same...
I've watched/listened to just about everyone. They preach from the same pulpit and read from the same que cards but when push comes to shove, they show their soft, white underbellies and we know them for the phonies that they really are.
Repeat their same words back to them, ala Ron Paul, and you're labeled a loonie, moron, etc.
I remember watching Glen Beck when he first came on and thinking ' this guy is great!'
He made all the right sounds for a 'conservative' talk show host. However, when the subject of RP came up, again speaking the same phrases/sentiments back to him he labeled RP 'the mayor of crazy-town'.
Yeah, a true conservative.
Take them all with a BIG grain of salt and don't let them form your opinions for you.
I love the phrase neo-con because now we have something to call them.
Bill O,is a reptilian alien from the orion star system.
Here he is getting frustrated with mortal humans that have put complex words on his teleprompter. Notice the large head, and the ability to shape shift immediately from irate imbecile, to jazzy tabloid TV personality.

Yes, Bill O is bad
He's actually the worst of the worst. He's the leader of propaganda. The king of BS. The spin starts there. Unfair and chemically unbalanced.
I can relate to her.
my first exposure to O reilly was his efforts to broadcast info about missing /exploited kids, Jessica's Law etc- I was honestly impressed. "This guy is doing alot of good". That was a long time ago- I have since seen so much damage he has caused with twisted justification, lies and manipulation that I shudder when I hear about his ratings. I always think that he could have really made a positive mark in this world if he'd just been like the Colonel and do one thing (missing kids) and do that right. Whether it is his intention or not he baits people with his work with kids and then blindsides them with his neo-con jingoistic crap. and it looks like hes been pretty successful.
I'm never really sure
that his ratings are being reported correctly. Sometimes I wonder.
I agree,
As in any other media outlet, you only see and hear what they want you to see and hear, and in the context which they are promoting (spinning). O'Reilly is the Master when it comes to spinning. One of his best methods is spin by omission. If you read his book(s) he often talks about two groups of people in the US, (Two groups make it easier to divide and conquer, ie. Democrats vs. Republicans.) the Secular Progressives and the Traditionalists, and what their agendas for this country are. He never mentions the NeoCons or their agenda, which most definately do exist and which he is very much a member of. He smears the MSM for their bias then brags on his ratings. At what point does the size of your audience make you a part of the MSM?
.
O'Reilly and Limbaugh?
.
One is a Fascist and one is a Soclialist. You figure out which is which.
.
Where's the happy little tire swing?
Well, I definitely think
Well, I definitely think O'Reilly is bad/a neo-con.... However, with Limbaugh.... I think he probably is a true conservative, it's just in the present, he has sold out his principles for the party, and he's been lied to by neo-cons, just like all Americans... I suppose it'd be very hard to come out and admit you were wrong when you're supposedly a "big time, major influential" radio host....

Hysterical. But how did they make it? I can't figure it out.

Lol, definitely a guilty
Lol, definitely a guilty pleasure.
Hysterical
"You trolidite humuncuous?" Is that what he said?
Good editing. I love it when O"Reilly does the bull snort. So funny.
homunculus
http://dictionary.referen...
1. an artificially made dwarf, supposedly produced in a flask by an alchemist.
2. a fully formed, miniature human body believed, according to some medical theories of the 16th and 17th centuries, to be contained in the spermatozoon.
3. a diminutive human being.
4. the human fetus.
By today's standards it would mean "retarded test tube baby".
I think
he said Humongculouse. Either way its LOL funny
Is this for real?
Really? I am amazed.
The camera guy
is edited in. I love his countdown to showtime.
Thanks
I was so shocked and thrilled that someone would really speak to this propagandizer this way that my common sense went out the window for a second. Thanks so much. Wishful thinking I guess. :)
ROFLMAO! THE funniest
video I have seen in long time!!! Good One! Is it on digg?
Glad
You liked it!
most of these guys hit on the same points
as Ron Paul but in reality, really are very jealous of him. Think about it this way if there was a perfect conservative in office they would have nothing to bitch about and that would be bad for business.
Well
Most Neo-Cons that I've heard or talked to practice doublethink on a daily basis. On the one hand, they whine about "big government", the government interfering with our lives or messing things up, etc. At the same time, they will argue for the Patriot Act, more government spending (oh yes, war costs money too neo-cons!) and complain if the government isn't heavy handed enough with certain issues. Maybe this isn't so much double think as willful ignorance. Herr O'Reilly doesn't strike me as an idiot, I just don't know whether or not he believes his own B.S.
Regardless, I certainly wouldn't describe him as "good".
The frustrating thing is
that you would think anyone who has been supporting Ron Paul for six months would know who the neocons are and that O'Reilly/Hannity/Rush etc. cannot be listened to without discretion. How can she still ask sincerely, "Is O'Reilly Bad?" I want to say, "What? You must be kidding me. Have I not taught you anything in six months? Have you not learned anything in six months? How have you been supporting Ron Paul and not know that?" It just frustrates me no end. Once someone comes to Ron Paul, you hope they see through the media, but it absolutely does not mean that they do.
Why can't we have just one tv station??? Seriously?
I listened to O'Reilly
I listened to him for a month or so when my local talk radio station added his show about a year ago. In that time, he spoke ill of libertarians many times, showing no understanding of the meaning of liberty or our Constitution. I shut him off.
Rush can fool you if you
Rush can fool you if you listen in short bursts. After awhile, though, it is apparent that he is anti-conservative.
O'Reilly, on the other hand, does not pretend to be conservative; he's largely a neocon, although he very occasionally diverges. Not enough so you'd notice.
