Ron Paul
Ron Paul and his campaign left us hanging high and dry. Wake up and smell the coffee. A massive March on Washington DC with Jesse Ventura also speaking (who by the way supports Ron Paul) could have woken up a sleeping giant (the American people). The signs, stickers, and stamper ended up in the garbage today. I came back to the Republican Party just for Ron Paul. I'm going over to The Constitution Party within a matter of days. This is the last time my heart will get so involved with a canidate ever again.

Don't be so downtrodden. I cried, too. On Super Tuesday when RP came in third place in my state, when we had so hoped for First, I cried and wailed then also.
I've been involved in the U.S. Taxpayers Party now called the Constitution Party since 1992. It's a fine group of people. The founder, Howie Phillips, is a good long-term (decades long) friend of Ron Paul. Phillips tried to get Ron Paul to run as the Constitution Party candidate in 2004.
As for your signs, stamper, and stickers, don't trash 'em! I'll take 'em! Ron Paul is still my hero. I will support him till the day I die.
I do not feel like he left us high and dry; I feel like he just knows what the next step should be. I trust this man very much.

He said he's not endorsing anyone RIGHT NOW, but that he may later on.
And he never said that Baldwin was "closest" to his position. He never compared Barr to Baldwin on that. He said Baldwin's position was "very close" to his but he also said Barr's message was the same as his.

again, Dr. Paul articulated a very thoughtful message and made a very good impression. Yes, he should not endorse anyone now, rather work further on the CfL and - if he does not get the nomination - he will be again the leader after November (unless Barr or Baldwin wins). If Dr. Paul is not the GOP nominee,
he will see about endorsing. I suppose he wants to see how the campaigns develop. Notice that while he was asked about Barr (and would have mentioned him, if not directly asked) and mentioning Baldwin, he did not mention Nader at all. Write-in of Paul would not help anything. See this article:

It is a pity that the support is split between Barr and Baldwin, both of whom would have a lot of positive to say and write about each other. One should rather see how much votes from the others can get got than each of them how much Ron Paul supporters they can get. One should rather see them (Barr and Baldwin) together and as Dr. Paul said hope both of them get a lot of votes. The CP does not have the ballot access that the LP has. The LP will be on 48 ballots at least, but not the CP. So those who want to vote for Baldwin in a state where the CP is not on the ballot, they can vote for Barr. Barr and Baldwin's positions would be close to each other, both pro-life, christian, limited government etc. etc. Baldwin wrote a positive article about Barr a while ago (more than a go ago, I think).
The Constution Party's platform is a bit oppressive
It says it's in favor of censoring things for obscenity, which I'm sure includes internet regulation, and thereby violating the 1st Amendment. It also speaks badly about gambling and calls for the Federal Government to regulate Indian casinos.
I'm trying to find out if Baldwin supports these positions. Do you know?

Ron has not endorsed anyone. He said he might endorse someone later in the fall.... but ultimately he won't because Baldwin and Barr are his friends and he can't choose between them.... don't go twisting his words to meet your own wishes just because you support Baldwin....

You know, I want Ron Paul for President, but JUST because he may endorse someone for president, does not mean that I would necessarily vote for who he does. I love Ron Paul, I want him to be my President Paul. That does not mean I would do anything he told me to do. I do what I think best, not what anyone else does, even him..although I would surely consider carefully, anything he said to do, before I made up my mind.
