First off, my appologies for this write, because I know this is not RP related, but it might have the capacity to save some lives, so I'm posting.

I have heard on the Derry Brownfield Show, about a month ago, about techniques on "How to grow 10 times the amount of food in a given space," the method / technique was not named on the show and it was not hydroponics, it was outdoors, and I was wondering if anyone can just mention what these techniques are called and / or some website references on the techniques.

-Your highest-volume home-grown food is hard red winter wheat. You can grow enormous amounts of grain on only a few acres. And if stored properly, wheat lasts for many, many years.

-In a hot black clay soil like central Texas, try pumpkins. In a hot, sandy soil, like Georgia, try melons.

-For ease of production and food for the table, try sweet potatoes and cherry tomatoes. Both need little maintenance once established.

-Your easiest meat source, livestock-wise, is a herd of goats. Goats thrive on weeds and brush.

-Your second easiest meat source, if you have adequate water runoff and ponds, is catfish.
