Schedule Sept 1 - ?
Can someone please post a schedule of what's going on with the Revolution in Minnesota during the Republican convention? I'd like to plan to attend but am uncertain when I should go and return. Thanks!
There is a book signing too
From LewRockwell......It'll be two days of fun -- the first day of the GOP convention, Ron Paul is having a book signing for The Revolution: A Manifesto at 1:00pm at a Borders store on the outskirts of St. Paul. (To be exact: 866 Rosedale Center, Roseville.)
Wouldn't it be funny if there were more people at the book signing than at the Republican Convention?

They should
They should project what is going on on the inside during our convention to a surface on the outside of the building, not only for other Paul supporters who couldnt get in due to capacity crowd but the general public (sheeple) as well. I think it would be pretty neat and give maximum exposure.

I hope the campaign will pull out all the stops
to throw a big convention bash! The media will most likely focus on the boring McCain event, but if the Paul campaign will jazz up the Williams arena with exciting things such as corporate event planners use, the attention will all be on Ron Paul. The campaign has the money, and this is a legitimate expenditure. Use floodlights, airplane flyover banners, carnival rides for the kids, and by all means, lots and lots of free food once inside the grounds. This will pull in many people, and head count is what we need to make a big impression. Call it the Ron Paul Constitution Festival. Keep the focus on the fact that our politicians DO NOT follow the U.S. Constitution, hence most of our problems.
Yes, let us do it all ! A celebration for freedom !
then all of the McCain people who are bored stiff will come to our party. Guess what will happen if no one shows up at theirs?

As a non-American living half way across the world, I cannot be part of the march in July or attend the convention in Spetember. But i'm sure as hell hoping more people warm upto Dr. Paul's philosophies and both these events will get more exposure for Dr. Paul and his campaign

Think of a better way to spend my vacation time! Hotels are going to be hard to comeby because of the other RNC as well. I bet we could get a coupla people together and pitch in on a penthouse suite eh?
I was just in St.Paul for the National Media Reform Convention
There are a ton of places to stay with shuttle buses from the airport I think sharing spare would be ideal there is an organization called space share - I believe that helped people share space at the convention. Contact me I would like to share space with who ever! I believe going there is V.I.P.

I'm poor, but will do my best. I'm also hoping to be part of the great walk for liberty (or w/e we're calling it) to walk there.
One suggestion: we need to think about how to "present" to the city, outside, to draw in the most number of curious passers-by (assuming we want to do that). Big signs? Balloons? "Carnival barkers" on the street corners nearby?

I assume there will need to be some way to manage 11,000 attendees. "First come, first in the door" will not work.
But if that is what they do, then I guess I will start camping out on the steps of the arena next week.
