Aaron Russo was merely votes away from being Governor of Nevada in 1998.
Until..... ..
something went wrong, very wrong.
Guess who the chairman of the convention was?
Give up?
Yep. The highly noble Sue Lowden. Yes, that's right; the current Nevada GOP chairman - Numero uno on the list of culprits for our 2008 State convention.
You won't believe what she did.

Yep. She canceled the convention.
You need to understand conventions and have a strong urge to read a lengthy essay (I think I'm in the right forum to find such people!):
