...I am happy to announce the official launch of the Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty.

The work of the Campaign for Liberty will take many forms. We will educate our fellow Americans in freedom, sound money, non-interventionism, and free markets. We’ll have our own commentaries and videos on the news of the day. I’ll work with friends I respect to design materials for homeschoolers.

Politically, we’ll expand the great work of our precinct leader program. We’ll make our presence felt at every level of government, where just a few people with our level of enthusiasm can make a world of difference. We’ll keep an eye on Congress and lobby against legislation that threatens us. We’ll identify and support political candidates who champion our great ideas against the empty suits the party establishments offer the public.

We will be a permanent presence on the American political landscape. That I promise you. We’re not about to let all this good work die. To the contrary, with your help we’re going to make it grow – by leaps and bounds.

This is the most ambitious venture of my political career, and I think it can achieve great things. But I can’t do this alone. I need you to help me. I need your energy, your creativity, your ideas, and your dedication.

People frustrated with our political system often wonder what they can do. I have founded this organization to answer that question, to give people the opportunity to do something that really makes a difference in the fight for freedom. Please join me by becoming a member of the Campaign for Liberty. Our goal is 100,000 members by September. Can we reach it?

Our campaign netted 1.1 million votes in the primaries of a shrinking Republican Party. Millions more support us. I need you to help me reach them – and to keep making new converts to the cause. What a force we can be, if only we rise to the occasion.

I don't think that these words are conjecture from Dr. Paul. I think they represent something very real and concrete for which he is setting forth his vision of a new organization. I believe and trust Dr. Paul. I sense his confidence and I know that he would not articulate something that was not supported by reality.

I understand that there are there are those who "refuse to donate until CFL formally announces what type of organization it is." But I think that the majority of Paul supporters would not share that view. I think most us of trust Dr. Paul's leadership--that is one reason why we have come together to support his candidacy for the Presidency.

For those who would suggest that Ron Paul's campaign for President turned out not to be a very good investment, since we did not, allegedly, according to black-box Stalinist-style elections, win a majority of the delegates to the Republican National Convention, I would submit that, like Ron Paul, I believe that this R3VOLution is a long term project whereas the 2008 elections are just a short term goal. I would submit that the real triumph of the Ron Paul Revolution thus far has been that we liberty-lovers have found each other and coalesced around the message of individual liberty and constitutional government and that we have inspired and motivated each other to take back our country one step at a time from within the corrupted political systems of the Bilateral War Party. I believe that Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty will facilitate just that and unify our efforts so as to multiply our talents.

I support the Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty.

I suggest that we start a money bomb for the Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty to show that the Ron Paul for President 2008 grassroots campaign hasn't went away. Maybe in early July?

Has slowed in the past 2 days. We really need to talk this up to more organizations, and the site MUST get more stuff on it than RP to get most involved. I think that is urgent.

Can someone put up or link this thing to a graph as was done with the moneybombs??? From what I've been watching, it appears that the mumbers are growning pretty steady at about 1,000 average per 24hrs.

Why didn't we use our numbers that we have already...and swarm the house before the vote took place? 60,000 is a lot of emails and letters correct? when will we be using our numbers and the Campaign for Liberty to sway the elected officials?

...just how many of these new members are actually REAL? I just now saw two names flash up, that made me suspect there's some spammin' going on. One just said, "Mark" with no last name, and no city and state. And the other one said "Fake Person" from Sturgeon Bay, WI. And I've noticed several other suspect names, previously. I wouldn't put it past our enemies to want to inflate the membership numbers, so that we think we've got more support than we've actually got. Then everyone will get disappointed and disillusioned when only a fraction of the "6 million members" ever does anything. This kind of ticker isn't nearly as trustworthy as the one that racked up genuine $$......
