So let me get this straight, it is ok for our troops to die or get maimed but not ok to access what they choose on the internet? How do you feel about the whole Mark Dice controversy with him sending DVDs and reports about 9/11 to the troops?

My first job out of college was with the USEPA (cringe). When I took the job, I swore the same oath, to "defend the Constitution of the United States of America from enemies foreign and domestic." I left the EPA in disgust 20 years ago, but I have never forsaken the oath. The point I am trying to make is that there must be hundreds of thousands or even millions of people who have sworn the same oath (the Federal government being the largest employer in the USA) and it's time we all lived up to our reponsibility to defend the Constitution. And we need to start right here at home. Thanks for all that you have done and continue to do.

Thank you, too. And thanks for the story as well. I just found out that the military personnel have rights taken away from them, too. What is going on here, right now, is a bigger threat to our safety than a country with no army nor navy is. As much as I dislike their philosophy, I dislike the government's HERE even more. We have a lot to do.

My son in the Air Force is in a similar situation but he never went over to Iraq, he is a crew chief on planes that never land over there.
He woke up last fall because of the Ron Paul campaign and decided this coming fall to not re-up and instead become a state trooper..one by the way that follows the constitution.

On this same subject I was talking to a guy that just came back from Iraq after two years. He is in the Army.
He started talking about how screwed our country was and how he felt Iraq was the staging ground for what was to come in our own country. I asked him to explain. He said the people of Iraq had had all their liberties taken away in exchange for safety. He went into more details and explained how allot of people in the army serving on the ground in Iraq where opening their eyes to what is happening in our country.
I assumed he was a Ron Paul supporter..to my amazement he had not even heard of Ron Paul !!!!!!!

Is it known by most of the troops that we have been bushwacked? I cant imagine going in to serve our country and coming home to find out you lost more freedoms. We are losing our rights one day at a time. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive those of us at home who allow these neocons to take our country and thrust it into the hands of the NWO. I am in the same boat as you, I have only been awake for about a year, it is sad to say my awakening and accepting that our country has been taken over by criminals was the first step in realizing that we are in the fights of our lives, humanity counts on us to be able to awaken others to the big picture. I couldnt imagine not having access to whats really going on in the world,this is really scary and I fear for the lives of the ones who dont have a clue they have a knife sticking in their backs. Welcome home and welcome to the ragtag army of freedom lovers. We all have one thing in common, still disagree on some things, came up different paths and share certain goals.

I woke up when I read the full texts of the petitions, injunctions and replies on the WeThePeopleFoundation.com site where you will also find a link to GiveMeLiberty.org/revolution so you will see how Ron Paul is admired there.

Once upon a time a fellow recommended that I read Atlas Shrugged by a woman who grew up in the Soviet Union and lived through the Bolshivik Revolution and the totalitarian nightmare which followed. Ayn Rand published a journal which spelled out her philosophy and reviewed books by von Mises which Ron Paul recommends when he advocates the Austrian School of economics. (www.mises.org)

This movement has been alive but dormant for years which Ron Paul has reignited. It will go on beyond this election. Hopefully the millions who have been drawn to it by Ron Paul will continue to educate themselves and those they encounter over the years.

The mere fact that the likes of Hillary Clinton and Barach Obama who are socialists, fascists, collectivists, (it takes a village) have been able to be so appealing to so many shows that the American people are ignorant of the ideas which are necessary to understand to see through their rhetoric and promises.

It appears to be too soon for successful political action on the scale needed to change the direction of our society. It is a race against time. Look what government employed lawyers concoct in response to Schulz's petitions at GiveMeLiberty.org. Look at the media treatment of Ron Paul. Wonder who is profiting from the creation of currency and the fractional reserve policy of our banking system.

Do not despair though for the understanding is known and the antidote is available in the minds of those who have taken the trouble to learn. Read Ayn Rand's works, For the New Intellectual, The Virtue of Selfishness and Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal. Read Rothbard and Mises, Bastiat and Hazlitt, Hospers, Machan, Brand Blanchard, Peikoff and Hayek, Bohm Bawerk and Menger, Sowell and Williams and others. There is much to learn.
