Aren't Huckabee and Romney also 'lurking' in the wings?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but both Huck and Mitt 'suspended' their campaigns as well. Don't think for a moment that either would push McCain over the cliff if they thought they could be the replacement nominee.
Or strength has to be the vast difference in policy and belief between RP and the neo-cons. Campaign for Liberty will be a huge step in this direction but it's still up to us, the grassroots, to keep the name out there; to keep reminding people that they have a choice.
Once RP starts turning heads before St Paul and delegates see that there is no way for McCain to win (I mean NONE) they may start re-thinking their 'presumptive nominee'. We can't let Romney sneak back in at that point. We have to have our ammo lined up against both Romney and the Huckster who will no doubt make a play for the lead role.
They must be sent running like a scalded dog.

yes but they are supporting Mccain.
Remember that makes a big differance between us and them.
yes it does, but not in our favor
The attendees at the convention (other than the RPers) will likely view the McCain-supporting candidates as more loyal Republicans than the non-McCain-supporting candidate. *Maybe* that could change by September, but I'd put money on it at this point.
If it is to change, the DVDs for Delegates program and the RP book program may be our best shots.
If it _doesn't_ change, our possible success would depend on the ability of the (non-RP) delegates to perceive integrity -- or some other quality unique to RP -- as being more important than party loyalty. Again, the DVD and book programs will be key in that effort.
